Dr. Christine (Christie) Jackson earned her Doctorate of Optometry from University California Berkeley School of Optometry. She is board certified in the treatment of ocular disease and finished externships specializing in the fitting of advanced contact lenses, pediatric eye care, and the management of eye disease.
A native of Southern California, Dr. Jackson was a student-athlete at UC Santa Barbara, graduating with honors in Biopsychology. Soon after finishing undergrad, she found herself living in North Lake Tahoe for a simple reason-to ski. She fell in love with this year-round community, met her husband Patrick, and became determined to plant permanent roots in Truckee.

Dr. Jackson listened to my concerns and asked questions to find the perfect prescription for working on a computer all day. The staff helped me to make a decision on frames that I am very happy with. Clean office, very few people inside, disposable masks and sanitizer available. I wish I had to go to the eye doctor more often!

Knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, informative - all of the qualities you could ask for in a Doctor! Dr.Jackson and her staff have been incredibly helpful with navigating some challenging vision problems that were previously misdiagnosed by another doctor. I am so lucky to have found Truckee Family Eyecare and am thrilled to see clearly again. It’s well worth the wait for an appointment! Highly recommended!!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING STAFF!
Dr. Jackson was personable, knowledgeable, and professional!
All admin. staff members were awesome at their job and just good people!
Chad... boy, that guy really knows his business. He did a number breakdown on all the glasses I was looking into - along with no B.S. information on all the extras costs and he helps you pick out your frames with full attention to detail.
Actually, the whole office will partake in picking out frames, which is the hardest part!
THEY CARE - I'D RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!

Amazing, great to have someone local that can take care of my needs instead of online. The Doctor is terrific and with the addition of Chad they are now super helpful fitting both regular glasses and sunglasses and transitions for sport specific activities. First prescription was a little off and they had both glasses re-done immediately for me.
