We currently manage hundreds of homes and condos for clients worldwide. The cost of our full service property management is 10% of the gross monthly rent. Our price is very competitive to the standard industry price for this type of management.

Hawaii Locals and first time buyers beware! Don't expect any helpful or courteous service if you're looking into buying or even interested in his properties. I was an interested buyer and checked out a listing he was selling and the guy just doesn't seem to care about questions and concerns you've had or about the place. A quick showing and belittles you when you want to know more about what you're buying.

I bought a house through Marifrances about two years ago. I would go on various real estate websites such as Zillow, pick out places I wanted to see, and she would meet me there. I would also drive around neighborhoods quite a bit and go to open houses on my own. I ended up buying the third house I saw with Marifrances, and after the transaction concluded, I got a rebate check. I had only just got off a plane from California, and while I did know generally how the process of buying a home went, I knew almost nothing about the market in Oahu, and she helped me fill in those blanks.

We used Jeffrey Samuels and his team to sell our house a few months ago. I'd be hesitant to believe the five star reviews on here. Seems funny to me that there are several five star and several one star reviews and very few in the middle.
At first contact, they were quick to respond. From that point it all went downhill. I will say I knew that the $3500 flat fee for "full service" was too good to be true from the beginning. However, we still signed on with them as we've bought & sold several houses (1 FSBO) and I'm familiar with the process.

Don't waste your time with this realtor! I'm a military officer with over 30 years of service. I left for an overseas assignment in January 2018, leaving my wife and sons behind until my sons finish the school year in May. My contract with Jeffrey Samuels expired today, after 6 months. I would suggest, urge, and really encourage you to do your homework before choosing this company. The only two people that were worth a damn was Alicia and Mitivai. My "realtor" only contacted me 3 times in 90+ days. In short, my wife and I basically sold our own home. The only thing they did for us was list it on MLS. Save yourself the time, money, patience and go with the firm that will WORK for you. You get what you pay for. $3,500 gets you the bare minimum. I will be very hesitant to even refer to them as Realtors.

I was a bit skeptical at first, since it sounds to good to be true, but things couldn't have turned out any better. They took pictures, listed on the MLS, and has a staff to assist with all the paperwork. The house had an offer within 48 hours.
We even closed from the Mainland.
He also assisted with entries into our home for inspections while we out of state as well.
Even assisted with our dead refrigerator while we were off Island.
I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Thank you for saving us a ton of money.

Andy is especially attentive, professional and responsive. He was very supportive in a particularly difficult Buyer situation and helped get us through it. Mary Frances and Jeffrey offered sound advice. Pricing was spot on. Little known is the fixed Buyer fee. We both bought and sold through them. We used their Buyer commission rebate to pay for part of a kitchen remodel. Would work with them again!

Jeffrey, Andy, and the team are professional and affordable, and we recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a property! They offer a flat fee of $3,500 to represent a buyer or a seller. Few people realize that the cost of both the buyer's and the seller's real estate agents is worked into the price of the property (2.5 to 3% each). For a $200,000 property on the mainland, 2.5% per agent ($5,000) is not an outrageous fee. For a $700,000 property (average cost of properties in HI), the cost of the buyer's agent and the seller's agent together is AT LEAST $30,000 for the same

Jeffrey Samuels sold a condo of ours in 2015. Anything you might expect from a full service agency was provided. Very professional very friendly; completely competent.
He just helped us purchase the condo of our dreams and he and Andy in his office were awesome. Everything done timely and professional and very friendly. He got our condo at 62k less than asking price.
Why would anyone pay 6% real estate fees when they can get the exact same thing for $3500?

Typical bad service for his clients and buyers, made appointment to show us a house and never shows up and intended NOT to show up the tenant said she had not heard from him all day. SO he never even let her know we where coming. Then he never even had the professionalism to return calls or emails. Thank you for wasting our time.

I was a little leery since when would a company only charge 3500.00 for full service?! The pictures of the condo were amazing! I was emailed documents to fill out and that I could scan back. I only needed to drive to find a notary just once. As far as the closing documents the escrow co. Sent a mobile notary to me. Jeffrey Samuels has more experience working with banks around the islands, than anyone else I could find in Hawaii. He's definitely an expert with short sales & foreclosures, and I'm sure that's just "brushing the surface". Best of all he's a people-to-people kind of businessman, which can be hard to find these days.
