Welsh Upholstery was funded by Mr. Mike Welch 30 years ago, now we've changed the name to Seventeen Street Upholstery, I worked with him hand to hand all that time. Due to his retirement on 2017, I Luis Roque became the owner to continue his proyect in the same premises. I'm very thankful for everything i learned from him.
Those in need of reupholstery may want to update their quality furniture (contemporary, traditional, or antique) to match a new design scheme in their home, to fix furniture that has seen better days, or even to lengthen the lifespan of cherished pieces that have been passed down. Among our customers are restaurants, hotels, real state offices, churches in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The owner mishandled a simple job of covering cushions on a sofa.He made errors in measurement and had to make the seat cushion 3 separate times, wasting fabric. He delivered the covers in a wrinkled heap stating that he does not iron or press fabric. At one point at my residence when he realized that he did not measure or cut the fabric correctly,he yelled and gestured with his finger. He did not return phone calls and continually broke agreements about time frames.overall my experience was that his work is substandard.
