The providers at Novant Health Primary Care Foxcroft enjoy serving adolescents and work hard to keep parents and caregivers informed while allowing these growing patients the privacy they deserve.
Everyone needs a primary care provider they can rely on in sickness-- and in health! At Novant Health Primary Care Foxcroft, we work to help you feel better when you are sick and then keep you healthy. The best time to visit a doctor is before you are sick. This gives you a chance to establish a relationship with your provider and gives your provider a chance to address small problems before they become larger issues.
When you choose Novant Health Primary Care Foxcroft, you can receive annual gynecologic care when you visit us for your annual checkup and help with gynecologic concerns any time. Should you need more specialized care or should you become pregnant, you will have access to gynecologists and obstetricians from across the Novant Health network.
When you are living with a chronic disease or condition, it is important to have a primary care provider to oversee your medical care. Your provider will work with any specialists you are seeing to stay informed of any treatment plans, and will check to ensure those treatment plans do not counteract any other treatment plans you are following.
Novant Health Primary Care Foxcroft offers vaccinations to children and adults. Vaccines routinely available include the flu shot and all standard childhood vaccines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (below). If you have any questions about vaccines, please feel free to ask those at your appointment.

I took my sister too see Dr Lisa Ford ,I also noticed the receptionist were rude and detached from the clients they were too involved with lunch plans my sister ,Margaret White appointment was at 10.20 she wasn’t called back until 10.50 .When she came out she was in tears said it was a new staff and they were rude to her and after Dr Ford came in she didn’t even spend 10 minutes with her , my sister asked to see Dr Ford after her lab work where the staff was rude and detached wouldn’t even speak to my sister, she asked too see Dr Ford and she never returned .My sister was in tears after leaving

This star is only for the so called "grace period." We showed up for an appt 11 minutes late due to traffic and the grace period is 10 mins and they made us reschedule the appointment. I realize rules are rules but I need all Novant facilities to be on one accord. We have been to other Novant facilities and their grace period is 15 minutes so if ALL Novant facilities were on one accord this could have been prevented.

If you value your time and your health, you will stay far far FAR away from this practice. The level of horrible customer service is completely unprecedented.
Want to be completely cut off cold Turkey from your medication that you need (that provide SERIOUS side effects like causing suicidal thoughts, etc?)- with NO REASONING WHATSOEVER AND NO REFERRAL TO ANOTHER PHYSICIAN- then this is your place!
Let me add, cutting someone off cold Turkey and refusing to fill a (let me preface) non addictive and NOT controlled medication that causes serious mental health side effects like suicidal thoughts

Foxcroft - Novant Health Primary Care has and will continue to provide all my health care needs. My PCP - Dr. Peter Dorton - provides the best possible service to me simply because he has "bedside manners" (a rarity) and he listens (another rarity). The entire staff is superb and most importantly is the fact that every person in that office renders respect and accountability.
