*UPDATE*
The employee who is in charge of the titles called me to inform me that the title had been sitting in the teller’s booth since the first day I went into the branch to pay off the loan and pick up. It was a misunderstanding by the teller who was supposed to give me the title. I have the title in hand now, and all is well again. The original content of my review is still relevant and I will leave it here for people to read in hopes that it will save somebody the hassle I went through. I have changed my rating from one star to three stars since, overall, my experience with the credit Union

I have used Horizon credit union for several of my auto loans. During those transactions, I was always treated with respect. The branch employees are from my community and you could see that they cared about me and all their members. They acted with integrity as they worked with me to get the best rates and loans that fit my needs. I have recommended them to my friends and colleagues.

I've been banking with Horizon CU for 10 years or so and a recent visit prompted me to write this review. From the very beginning, when I got my first vehicle loan though them, I was impressed with the organization. If there were any problems I could trust that it would be resolved very quickly. With the dozens of employees that I have interacted with over the years, from loan officers, tellers, and yes, even the tv monitors on their ITMs, they have always been very professional and respectful. I opened a few accounts with Horizon and refinanced an auto loan shortly after moving back into the area and I have been so impressed! The employee who helped us was easy to work with and was very caring, personable, and respectful of our needs. Each of my small children now has a savings account with them and I look forward to teaching them about money and the importance of placing it with an institution they can trust. For now, my daughter is most excited about the star piggy bank they gave her :)
