Any person licensed as "home inspector" pursuant to state rules and regulations, who practices as a home inspector and inspects the condition of a residential building on behalf of client for which the client is charged a fee. The purpose of obtaining home inspection is to advise buyer of existing visual or functionally defective issues before the sale is completed.
Where multiple instances of the same component exist, a representative number shall be inspected. F.S., when required by these standards, systems or components by their type and/or significant characteristics. Probing is not required when, in the opinion of the inspector, probing would only further damage any area already identified as defective or where no deterioration is visible or presumed to exist.

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas, which has always been a part of our environment. It's a natural decay product of uranium and is found in soil everywhere in varying concentrations. Radon gas can accumulate in enclosed places, such as a house, but its presence, even in high concentrations, cannot be detected by human senses because the gas is invisible and has no odor.
