Services
Gaestehaus Salzburg Bed & Breakfast was established over 25 years ago by Werner and Patricia Maringer. Werner, Austrian born and raised, was a hotelier for many years while he and Patricia traveled the world with family in tow. In 1993, they settled in Lake Lure to build a European-style B&B on seven lush acres wonderfully located in the heart of town.
A charming cottage near Lake Lure marina, Chimney Rock and the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC). The Austrian cottage has 2 Queen size bedrooms, 2 baths and full kitchen with corner-bench dining unit; comfortably accommodating two couples or a family. Maximum 6 guests. This "tiny House" log cabin has no steps to enter and a large wrap around deck which makes accessing the entrance and outside area very convenient.
Gaestehaus Salzburg has offered serenity and a peaceful atmosphere to travelers for over 20 years. We have tried to answer as many questions as possible. Each cabin is equipped with a Booklet giving information on local restaurants, things to do in the area, shopping, special upcoming events, and interesting history on Chimney Rock Park and Lake Lure.
Gaestehaus Salzburg is located in the heart of Lake Lure, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We are 45 minutes from Asheville, and 20 minutes from the Tryon International Equestrian Center. From Asheville: Take Highway 74A East to Bat Cave, through Chimney Rock and into Lake Lure. Continue 2.8 miles past the Lake Lure Beach.
