My legal practice focuses on elder law, estate planning and disability issues. My firm provides quality traditional legal services to all of our clients by listening to their special needs, understanding what is important to them, and delivering practical and realistic solutions that are designed to satisfy their specific goals.

Because of our strong commitment to personal attention, compassion and professionalism, we often serve several generations within a family or different branches of the same family. We strive to build long lasting relationships with individuals, families and professional fiduciaries within our community, and are extremely proud of the fact that our clients often recommend us to their family, friends and colleagues.

Comprehensive estate planning covers nearly every aspect of life. It begins with protecting yourself and your personal dignity, and extends to protecting your loved ones and your hard-earned assets. There are many legal strategies involved in estate planning, including wills, revocable living trusts, irrevocable trusts, durable powers of attorney, and health care documents.
There are many legal strategies involved in estate planning, including wills, revocable living trusts, irrevocable trusts, durable powers of attorney, and health care documents. New clients often say that they do not have an estate plan. Most people are surprised to learn that they actually do have a plan.
In California Medi-Cal (known as Medicaid in all other states), is a joint federal-state program, subject to certain federal requirements, as well as California's own regulations regarding how the program is managed. Medi-Cal is not an entitlement program like Medicare, but rather a needs based program (i.e., the applicant must have "limited resources and income").
Elder law is another aspect of estate planning, focusing primarily on the needs of families and individuals as they age. Issues of aging include senior housing and home care, long-term (or nursing home) care, guardianships and health care documents, Medicare and Medicaid. As our population ages, more and more of us confront elder law-related issues, whether for ourselves or our parents.
You may be faced with a family member or a loved one who has become incapacitated or incompetent. If no estate planning documents are currently in place, the only legal recourse may be to seek the appointment of a conservator (of the person and/or the estate) through the probate court.

A conservatorship is "a court proceeding to appoint a manager for the financial affairs and/or the personal care of one who is either physically or mentally unable to handle either one or both."A conservatorship shifts the responsibility of making financial and personal care decisions from the Conservatee to the Conservator; and.

Receptionist (Paralegal?) did not understand my needs. After clarifying multiple times, this person could not understand what I was asking and ultimately wasted my time.
I would not recommend this law office.

Thank you Attorney C. Brown and Paralegal Team for providing awesome service to me and for taking my case with no issues! 100% Excellent service. I was frustrated, I remember putting the case in your hands and saying you can have it and that is exactly what you and the team made it feel like, you took my case and closed it! The Paralegal team was amazing as well. Pleasant office. I would highly recommend Attorney Brown and her Team! Thanks once again. God Bless

This review is really long overdue! Christine Brown and her staff did an excellent job on an estate plan for us when we needed one in 2018. She took the time needed to put in the details and modifications that we wanted versus just a standard estate plan. (We did NOT have a lot of unusual stuff. But the things that we wanted taken care of, she took care of them in our plan.) She took the time to explain to us everything in the documents that we had questions about. To our knowledge, her price was comparable to other attorneys. What she gave us was really excellent!

About 10 years ago my elderly mother switched from a Big-Many-Important-Partners Orange County law firm to R. Christine Brown.
And we never looked back.
Ms.Brown has been a guiding star through the years, making sure my mother's interests were at the forefront... until now.
Today she spent the time helping our family wade through the legalities of our mother's death.
The respect and thoughtfulness shown us could not be greater. The friendliness and welcome at the front desk will make you feel at ease.
I speak for our entire family when I say that we cannot recommend this law firm any higher
