Dr. Merino grew up in Southern California and graduated from Kennedy High School in La Palma. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and his doctorate degree from the Southern California College of Optometry.
He received many awards including the VSP Independent Practice Scholarship, the Professional Eye Care Associates of America Award, and induction into the prestigious Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.Dr. Merino enjoys being involved in the community and volunteering his time and expertise to the under-served.

DIGITAL RETINAL IMAGING: A specialized fundus camera allows us to clearly visualize the important structures of the inside of the eye to help with diagnosing, documenting, and monitoring abnormalities and conditions of the eye.
You will receive a 30% discount on non-insurance covered, additional complete pairs of glasses purchased the same day as the exam. Within 12 months of your Annual Eye Exam, you will receive a 20% discount on additional complete pair(s) of eyewear, including Plano sunglasses. We also honor 20% discount on prescription or plano sunglasses to Contact Lenses Patients who purchases a year of contact lenses supply.

There are some places you visit and they provide great service....some places you go to and they change your life for the better.
I want to thank the staff and Dr. Merino for the exceptional service they provided me and my 5 year old son and has worn glasses since he was a little over a year old.
Parents of children with special needs have a different experience many times, and things so ordinary and straightforward to others can be stress-inducing, very difficult and anxiety ridden for us.
Then you get an appointment with a place like this and...they just get it. They were so nice and patient

Just recently I was in with my son and I’m so grateful to Dr. Lim and the staff who redirected me to go into emergency room with him his eyes scans where not looking good. If it wasn’t for the doctor, who knows how much longer I would have to wait to get him seen. Now he is on his way to recovery with medication to get his eye sight back. I’m so thankful to you guys 😊

I have been coming to this optometry clinic since I was 8years old and made sure to follow them to their new location when they moved. My kids and I have always received great customer service. The ladies in the front desk are great, they take the time to help you and have patience to help you decide on a good pair of frames.
