Seriously. I went in to ask about Vuity drops and they knew nothing about it. Tried to sell trifocals and my next eye exam and walked me out. Would not recommend this place. They are behind the times and are all about trying to upsell you on glasses. Dr Jim definitely does not need patients because he treats them with disrespect. When did this guy forget we are paying customers....and the entitled, elitist attitude does not work anymore?

Got an eye exam from Dr. Jim, who convinced me that I need glasses because, "I don't think you'd pass the DMV test." I got a second eye exam a week later with an ophthalmologist who told me "You have 20/20 vision - you don't legally need eyeglasses." Hmm. Eye doctors are required by law to give you your eyeglasses prescription after the exam (unless you don't need glasses) even if you don't request it. I asked for this from both the office and Dr. Jim, and I still don't have it. I am actively preparing an update of this review.

Dr Pietriantonio is a wonderful optometrist. I love that he is patient during the exams and wants to get the Rx right the first time. The front office staff is friendly and always helpful when picking out frames. They too are patient with me when I come back for multiple adjustments! I was having trouble with my latest lenses and Dr P took the time to check everything and is having my lenses remade due to a lab error. I feel like the whole staff really cares. I don't trust my eye care with anyone else.

I am being treat for glaucoma by Dr. Pietrantonio. He answers all my questions, I feel I am getting the best treatment available. The staff is always friendly and efficient. Everyone is very helpful. I would recommend Los Gatos Optometric Vision Care to everyone. Even if you don't have vision problems, it's still smart to get a check up to catch any problems before they become serious. Everytime I have an appointment at Los Gatos Optometric Vision care, all the employees are very nice. The employees greet you when you are there and when you are leaving, ask how you are doing, and if I need help or have any questions, just ask. The doctors are very nice and helpful when getting my eyes checked, they want the best prescription, glasses, and type of contacts for my eyes.

My family and I just moved here and were looking for a friendly, well equipped place. We found it here. They are helpful, kind and funny. The doctor is professional and on top of the latest eye care. Dr Jim and his staff are superb! I have had a great experience at his office. His office staff is friendly and professional and keep appointments on time. I've seen Dr Jim for years and have no reason to change. He referred me to my lasik surgeon, which was a life changer and recently handled an eye injury with compassion and quality care. I recommend Dr. Jim highly!
