Although a few years late I decided to go ahead and share my experience with Arbor Brook. I called the cops several years back for a domestic violence incident. I was given a notice the next day (after reporting the incident to the office my self for safety reasons & to change my locks) and was told I had 3 days to leave. They tried to evict me for trying to save my own life. The office staff was very unsympathetic during the whole situation. It’s unfortunate since I truly did enjoy the apartment place, but this incident in my opinion is more important to share than having a nice pool.

Horrible experience. This is the first place I have lived where you don’t get to move when your lease is up. You have to sign an intent to move out form, which is fine. However, you must turn that in 30-60 days prior to your lease end date. Our rent was 1200. Our lease was up August 31st, due to technicalities, we were forced to stay another month after our lease. Making our lease end on September 31st. After your lease is up, even if you haven’t completed a move out for 30-60 days prior, they force you into a completely new lease. We’ve been here since December and it’s a comfy little community!! We love the new maintence guy. We had bad luck with the last one who said he completed our order and didn’t and this new one has went above and beyond. Fixed everything super fast and the first time and was very nice and professional!

I love living here. Leased here before in 2018, then came back and am leasing now since March 2021. Theres two reasons why they don't get 5 stars, however.
For starters, the dog park has been graveled in since 2018, and it has basically turned into a giant scorching hot litter box. Residents are supposed to be responsible for their own dogs poo's, but you'd think the complex would also try to keep the dog park and grass inside the complex poo free, especially with all the young families with children living here. The dog park is basically unable to be used from 10am-6pm now as well, because of

They don't spray for mosquitos, wasps, and the apartments are infested with silverfish.
My main frustration was the overgrowth of the landscaping. When I first moved here I could walk my dog down to the creek by the greenway and it was so nice. Well it hasn't been maintained in over 5 years so you can imagine the brush and weeds that have grown up. not to mention the fact that the trees are getting too tall you can't even see the beautiful sun setting or the sunset sky at all! There are snakes everywhere in the poorly maintained landscaping. It's ridiculous!
Do you guys plan on trimming all that

I cannot say enough good things about Arbor Brook. From the ladies in the front office (especially Casey, she is such a sweetheart!), to the maintenance crew, to the neighbors. The apartments are spacious, well maintained, there is ample parking, groundskeeping does a phenomenal job, everything always stays so clean. Maintenance even comes by to change out your air filters!!! How awesome is that?! If you are looking for a beautiful community, that is very family friendly and in the wonderful Blackman community- look no further! This is it. Keep up the great work, guys!

Came home today with a notice to pay $25 for new blinds after a patio inspection was completed. Blinds that cost $5. No notice to let me handle myself.
My special needs son has difficulty understanding that the blinds are fragile. I don’t want them replaced just so this place can charge me another $25 for “their” replacement costs if he brakes a blind or two, again. Also, loved how they moved my patio furniture around and my cushions were scattered on the porch/yard.
I renewed my lease in April of this year with a constant promise for a carpet cleaning. It’s now December

My fiancé and I have been loving our new home since the day one. The apartment was spotless upon moving in and unlike apartments I've lived in in the past, I have never had a problem with A/C, water temperature, or electricity. The staff welcomes you with local coupons and a roll or toilet paper (which doesn't sound like much) but the coupons are actually a smart and sweet way to let us discover restaurants around us and the toilet paper bc well... who remembers to grab that on moving day? Nice quiet neighborhood w/ plenty to do between the outdoor grill, pool, gym, and volleyball court

The apartments are really nice and the community is great. Maintenance responds quickly and are very helpful. Danny is our favorite because he's been able to fix any problem we have had so far and is super friendly and personable. My only issue with the complex is the front office staff. They are someone standoffish and stuck up and if you ever want to go hang out in the really nice club house they make you feel unwelcome and act like "what are you doing here?" They kind of act like they are the police or the residents teacher looking down on us and setting rules for us to follow
