Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
We were able to reserve a truck for our son's wedding at short notice after a cancellation by a different entity. Everything went incredibly smooth and seamlessly. Great food and service not to mention the fun atmosphere and food choice our couple wanted for their event. I highly recommend.

We had Silver Moon Taqueria come to our business for an employee appreciate event today. The Food Truck League (specifically Kelli) made it SO easy! Kelli gave me great guidance on picking the truck and then she just lined it all up. It was an awesome experience from start to finish - thank you!

Currently, the Food Truck League is in Murray Park on Tuesday evenings until about 8:00 p.m. About 8 trucks come each week, with a nice variety of choices (over the last three weeks, I've seen trucks offering pizza, BBQ, Mexican, American, Japanese, Thai, Peruvian, Hawaiian, and several offering dessert).
Generally, it gets crowded from 6-7, but if you come at 7:30, the crowds start to die down. While social distancing is pretty non-existent within the circle of trucks, Murray Park has a lot of tables, pavilions, and lawn space for individuals and families to enjoy their food.

The Food Truck League's bread and butter is bringing together food trucks -- and doing it exceptionally well.
From the daily "Food Trucks at the Fountain" (at The Gateway), to the summer "Wednesday League at the Olympic Oval", to special events all around the Salt Lake Valley, the FTL is the local leader in both disseminating the information and running events. Thanks to them, we can regale in multiple tastes at the same time.
The best place to start is online: Their website has a great "Food Truck Locator" that maps out where the trucks are. They also have

Checked out the website to see who was going to be at the Daybreak event. The following food trucks were scheduled to be there...
Fiore Pizza
Marquesas Corndogs
Black's Sliders
Porky's Poutine
Clark's Malasadas
Cluck Truck
Silver Moon Taqueria
CupBop
Yoshi's Enso Grill
The Matterhorn
Kona Ice
Rickle's
Bandera Brisket
I looked online to see what each food truck had to offer and the idea was to try a little something from several trucks. We all wanted to sample a taco, slider, corn dog, some brisket and a doughnut from Clarks.
When we arrived at about 645 to 7 pm we

I tried the food truck league on one of their Monday nights in Sugarhouse and it was super cute and animals are welcome which is always a plus in my book.
They had:
Poutine Fries
W.T.F
Sliders
Donuts (not gluten free or vegan :'( )
I can't remember all the names of the food trucks but one was hawaiin ice, they also had a good variety of like foodie type dishes and sliders. I had some of the vegetarian sliders and was not digging them. The mix just didn't compliment eachother. I like the idea of the food truck league and am not sure how many food trucks are included in this league

We went to try the food trucks at fair park and loved it. I think there were 7 food trucks there to choose from. I hope that we will get many more in the future. There wasn't too many people there, maybe it's because of the playoffs. I got the mixed taco plate at kotako and my brother got there burrito. Both were excellent..... We also tried the Malasada truck which was really good.

Just a caveat.....If you are planning an event with food trucks,DO NOT deal with the Food Truck League. After promising 10-12 trucks, then 5-6 trucks, then 2-3 trucks; we ended up with 0 trucks 3 days before a church sponsored charity event. We spent hundreds of dollars on advertising and permits, all that could have been donated to charity. Very very unprofessional and irresponsible. BTW check with the Health Department about the League, you might be surprised.

So we went to the sugar Food gathering Monday night. We had the Rickle's philly cheesesteak, and Fire & slice mobile wood fire pizza.
I really liked the margarita pizza it was flavorful, the cheese was very yummy and i liked the tomato and, cheese ratio. The execution was great too, I'm looking forward to trying their other pizza.
The cheesesteak was sooo yummy, the meat was chopped into small pieces making it so easy and nice to chew by human teeth, you know how some places think that we have animal teeth, and they aren't as sharp as they were when humans ate like animals

I think this event deserves an update. I visited the first week and not only were there not enough trucks to handle the number of people but the location was far too small for the number of people & most of the trucks were running out of food without letting people in line know. I also visited this week and it was a whole new story. We found parking nearby, the lines (although a little long) were going pretty quick, there was plenty of seating, & we had a great night in Sugarhouse. If I were to plan this event next year (and I am an event planner so I think it's fair to say), I would

It is so much fun to be able to check out a bunch of different food trucks all at once. My favorite is Art City Donuts. These events are great for date nights and you can share an appetizer, entree, and dessert all from different trucks!
The lines were a bit ridiculous, over an hour at most of the trucks. So if you wanted to try more than one truck you were standing around in a giant crowd for most of the night. The rally's are always a good time and in an interesting location. I do wish that there would be more seating though, it's hard to stand around in a crowd and eat.

I was really rooting for The Food Truck League to be a huge success. There were well over 11k Facebook RSVP's as attending and approximately 10k that showed up. The turnout was great but the majority of attendees seemed disappointed.
It's a good idea in theory--what a perfect way to spend your summer night, right?! It was supposed to be an opportunity to bring the community together to socialize, eat good local food trucks, and listen to a live local band. I can see this working if the venue were bigger. Back in California, there are similar events--the OC Night Market & the

I wish I could give you more than one star. You would think with the food trucks, live band, vast amount of people and atmosphere it would be pleasant but it wasn't. The lines were long which was expected so my friends and I decided to split up and stand in a different line so we could get a variety of food. Nope didn't work. I stand in line for two hours for a burger and when we get to the line they tell us they are out of meat and all they have are buns and condiments. Why didn't they make a sign or let it be known while everyone was standing in line for two hours? Nine trucks
