One of the most effective ways to eliminate identity theft is to shred all your documents that contain personal information, including your address. Shredding is $1.00 per pound for the first 30 lbs and $0.50 for every pound over 30.

Have had this mailbox going on 3 years, figured I'd write a review as it's a very convenient place to have a mailbox, when you live in an apartment or have to worry about porch pirates stealing your package. The guy who is behind the counter takes a picture of your package and texts each mailbox user individually which is very very helpful. Also their prices on odds and ends are very reasonable. I won't be leaving anytime soon and will stay with them for ye to come .

I used to live in the Shea Blvd/ Tatum area since 2001 and you name it - I tried it all! Couple USPSs, couple UPSs... but nothing is even close to the great service you can get at Ship-Rite! You check it for yourself when next time you will need to ship something! Ask for Alex - he will take care of all your shipping needs!

I use two mail services as I travel all the time; Ship Rite and a service in Santa Rosa, California. Ship Rite is fantastic. If I send an email I get an immediate response. If I have packages arrive I receive texts with photos. They are the best! I've been using the service for almost two years and I'm very happy. Thank you Alex!

It appears this location is being used by "Olmstead Properties, LLC" as their place of business. I keep receiving what I consider rip-off offers from Olmstead to buy my property for less than one-third what its worth. I'll be happy to remove this complaint when Olmstead is prevented from using this address.

I had a large item I needed to send out to a friend. It was kind of a weird shaped larger item that I also needed a box for. Alex, the cashier, assisted me in identifying the most appropriate sized box available and cutting it down to the size of the item so that I didn't need to fill it with more packing material than necessary. He was quick about everything. The facility was clean (though he was not wearing a mask FYI) and well organized.
Will consider Ship-Rite as a shipping method from now on!

Overall this place deserves a five-star review but with one negative note. First, the positives. The price is right ($15 a month), the owner is friendly (she's awesome), the service and software to view your mail are good. Requests are handled promptly and everyone is always friendly.
Now, the one negative note -- and one wish I have.
There's a gentleman in there sometimes. He's nice. But at least on two occasions he's given me someone else's mail when I slowly and clearly stated my box number. I made a point of this because I can mumble, and I can pronounce

I've only just transferred my P.O Box to this location in the last month and I immediately felt regret for not transferring sooner!!! I have to say-- the difference in service, specifically as it relates to the ease and accommodations for PO Box holders, is far superior than my previous PO box I used here in the valley. I was immediately impressed with ShipRite's standard of communication -- everything is convenient and easy!

Waste of time on the phone. I inquired to get some basic information. Got none. Just a snarky woman pitching FedEx. I was looking for the most economical way to ship a 6 pound item and she was of no help. Said the Post Office has a 50% failure rate. Of course that's absurd. Not that I have had 100% success with the USPS, but it has been nothing remotely like 50%. Not even 1%. ShipRite is not interested in helping you. They're interested in pitching what they want to pitch. Save your time.

Out of the blue I received a used dvd from this place. I did not order. I traced it back to it and called them. A woman answered, i told her what happened, she curtly said "it was an error just throw it out." No research, no accountability. When I pressed for more info, she said "we are a shipping company. errors happen." Hmmm. i get that. But what about the right person who ordered this, and the other person who shipped this... don't they appreciate this error corrected? did i get charged for it? are there any tracking?... does anybody care?

Very impressed! Sold a high end & delicate musical instrument on Ebay and decided that it would be best to leave the packaging to a professional. Was very nervous about entrusting this vintage item to someone else...called a few other local places and didn't get a good feel. Tried shiprite by phone and they seemed to know what they were talking about. From the moment I walked in they instilled confidence and were very reassuring. Prices were reasonable for the services, definitely competitive for the area. It was good to know that shiprite would personally handle any insurance claims if

Like the other reviewer, this is my first Yelp review. I couldn't not tell folks about this customer friendly option to the post office. All the options are here under one roof--USPS, UPS, FedEx. The guys behind the counter will find the cheapest option to meet your deadlines. They've even boxed the most unusual shaped items for me at crazy low prices. I will drive farther to this spot because they are friendly, efficient, and give me the best service I could ask for. Tell your friends, they'll thank you. Mine have!!

Let me start by saying I have never written a Yelp review before! I felt compelled to do so after the great service I received at Ship Rite today. I was actually looking for a post office but my GPS brought me here. I am glad it did.
I am ofter surprised how some businesses still neglect to provide great customer service - even in today's economy. This is not the case at Ship Rite. I was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency and friendliness of the clerk. He provided me with all my shipping options, was quick to help me and did everything with a smile.
