State Rideshop is a bike, board, service, and lifestyle apparel shop located in Tempe, Arizona, right on ASU campus. ASU is a large campus and Tempe is a big city. Navigating either-of-which by foot really isn't the best option. Insert State Rideshop. We offer bicycles in a variety of prices and styles, including fixed-gear/single speed, beach cruisers, city bikes, mountain bikes, CX bikes, and fat bikes.
We also offer quality skateboards/longboards, including build-your-own plastic-mini boards and a variety of longboards/mini-cruisers from Landyachtz, Arbor, Arties, and Globe. Additionally, we have a team of mechanics on staff to service your bike or board, from simple flat tire repairs and bearing changes, to full-tune ups and cleaning overhauls.

Truly the best!! Helped out my son when his bike fell and the seat and handles got messed up .. he went to a few other shops which were closed .. I had him try this place and they were so friendly and helped him out. Sitting out of state I had a sense of relief since he really needs the bike to get around .

Ordered my fixed gear black label rick and Morty colab bike earlier this week and I received it two days later. I went in to have it assembled and they were able to assemble it free of charge because I purchased the bike online :) Alex and Zack were very helpful. Zack was very knowledgeable! The guy knows his stuff 10/10 recommend. I will definitely be going back for all my bike needs

I have been a long time customer of State Bicycle and their Rideshop. The great thing about this shop is their staff and service. Great people work here and they all have bike and or skate board backgrounds. The selection is good on most accessories and they have even ordered items for me in the past.

My go-to local bike shop here in Tempe (next to ASU) for repairs, new parts, and great service.
The guys that work here are very knowledgeable and genuinely cool to just talk cycling and the local bike scene. Repair costs are very reasonable, and turnaround times on repairs are fast. In addition they carry an array of bikes and longboards that will work great for the flats here in Tempe. Special note, they are very knowledgeable with State Bicycles. I own a State fixie from this store and it runs as good as day one. Highly recommend these guys for bike/longboard purchase, repairs/parts, and overall

All I can say about this place is that it is a board and bike shop (maybe...? I don't even know considering how little inventory they have) that is close to campus.
This place has really poor inventory, sub-par service (I felt like I was a burden while in there), and is sooooo overpriced, it is wild. Talk about on-campus premium.
Let me illustrate. Last week, I came in to check out what boards they have. For a little background, I am a junior at ASU who has made longboards, and knows a lot about parts and quality. The boards were 2-3 times retail (no joke, that's how expensive they

Really rude, they really gives you bad service and way over price! They will not willing to help you unless you're going to buy something from the store! Overall really bad experience! I would not recommend this shop to anyone. There's way better bike shop in Tempe! Don't waste your time with this place.

Not sure if they were lying or they we're just unknowledgeable.
Been coming here for roughly a year or so and have bought new tires from them since I always get flats. At first, I found it odd that my back tire kept getting flats (sometimes within two weeks).
I used to ride a mountain bike and switched to a commuter and they said because of that, I had to REALLY make sure the tire was inflated properly before I rode it.
Furthermore, they told me several times when I asked for sealant that "I couldn't get any because of the commuter tires"
Well, went to another bike shop
