SSM patients shed on average one to five pounds each week.* Ladies tend to lose one to three pounds, while men lose two to five.* We focus on FAT loss and muscle maintenance or growth. Of course, your individual results may vary and will depend on many factors: including your beginning weight, medical conditions, intensity and individual program design.
It involves a very low calorie diet, that may sound to slow the metabolism, or harm the body.*. The hCG program is a strict regimen that consists of a very low calorie weight loss program in combination with daily hCG injections.*. Therefore, this program should only be considered by those who are very serious and committed to their weight loss goals.*.
The key to successful weight loss is creating a caloric deficit. In other words, you need to burn more calories than you take in. This forces your body to burn fat (not muscle) and you then lose weight. One might say a significant reduction in calories can cause your body to go into "starvation mode" and your metabolism will slow.

So disappointing. While the program seemed to work ok, because it is very strong medicine, I was completed tricked into the ongoing expense and scammed out of a $100 consultation fee. When I signed up they automatically signed me up for a follow up session at the end, then when I had this last appointment they said it meant I was signing back up for another 3 weeks. I am dealing with family issues and must be out of town which I explained but they didn't care, and said I would have to wean off the meds so telling me at the begining I could do this 3 weeks at a time and choose to sign up

I am feeling so annoyed right now with this place. As a previous poster said, the doctor is a pill- pusher. Even when I told him I already took one of the medications that he wanted to give me, he still gave it to me. He told me exercise would not really help, just to walk. His advice was to not eat at all if I wasn't hungry and I suspect says the same thing to every one of his " patients". His big advice? Don't use olive oil. What Im most annoyed about are the excessive fees. I have yet to figure out how a follow up visit could cost the exact same as an initial visit. So I

Excellent results and outstanding doctor and staff. I weighed 150lbs which is too much for my 5' frame. I ate less and did modified activities to lose the weight and I was able to lose 12lbs with diet and exercise, but then I wasn't able to shed anymore weight. I was at wits end because I never had a weight problem in my life and this was the first time I could not lose it. So I came to this practice and was greeted warmly and professionally. The nursing assistant spoke to me kindly and allayed my fears while she was taking my weight and vitals. When I went in to see the doctor, he

I went there in September 2016 and I noticed that almost everyone in the waiting room was Hispanic. Even the majority of the staff was Hispanic. Okay cool, I am thinking maybe the doctor is Hispanic? Let me just see what is going on here. However, the customer service was extremely good. The front desk young lady was very friendly and cheerful, and the nurses or medical assistants were very friendly. I did notice that there was this white woman who seemed to be in charge of the office staff (probably his wife) who wasn't talking so nice to the front office staff. The doctor, Dr. Wolins wasn

First visit and so far so good!! Very friendly staff. Jennifer was my nurse and she was super nice and informative. Saturdays seem to be the busiest day, but the front office has a great rhythm in getting patients in and out without sacrificing the great customer service.

First impression: The music was cheerful and inviting and made me feel less nervous. All of the staff were positive and upbeat and answered my many questions. Most importantly, I did feel the cost was very reasonable and I will return in a couple of weeks for my follow up.

The number one thing you should know is that the doctor we met with was a pill pusher. My husband & I went to him looking for REAL nutritional advice (we thought he was an actual nutritionist since this company is listed under that category). We just wanted sound advice on how to eat healthier, and basically the first things he says is, "I have a pill for you" and that a healthy diet & exercise, "don't work." I asked if he was serious, because what the hell? He repeated the previous statement. I asked him if he was a nutritionist, because I couldn't imagine

I found the consultation to be shorter than expected. I looked for a "personalized" diet / weight loss plan for me and I was surprised that prescription medication came in very (too) early in the conversation. I was expecting an analysis of my current nutrition and perhaps personalized advice, as advertised on the Simply Slim Medical site.
Frankly, I was a bit disappointed, especially since I was looking to drop only 10 lbs, with no deadline.
I look at medication as last resort. Yet, I was led to it in a matter of minutes.
This was my experience.
