During the past few weeks, we have taken the time to re-evaluate our daily operations and train our staff for a safer and more streamlined patient experience. Our new facility affords us ample space to provide safe and efficient care. We will continue to ask all drivers or accompanying family/friends to wait outside or in the car.
There are many eyeglass lens options available. Your eye care provider will take your lifestyle and vision correction needs into consideration when helping you select the right lenses for your eyes. Transition lenses - These lenses are made of dynamic materials that automatically adjust to the level of surrounding light.
We offer a wide selection at our office, and our experienced team of eye care professionals can help you find the right contacts for you. There are many contact lens options available. Your eye care provider will take your lifestyle and vision correction needs into consideration when helping you select the right lenses for your eyes.
In addition to assessing your visual acuity, your eye care provider will test for common eye diseases, assess how your eyes are functioning together, and more. Serious health issues like diabetes and high blood pressure are often first detected during an eye exam. The American Optometric Association (AOA) recommends children have their eyes examined at 6 months old, three years old, at the start of school, and every two years until age 18.

These people are rude!! I was in waiting for my appointment and I couldn't believe how rude the guy was talking to an older couple. He treated them like they were low life's. Talking down to people should not be allowed. I will not support a business that talks or allows their employees talk to people this way.

When our family's vision insurance changed, we sought out a new optometry office and are glad to have found Delta Vista Optometry! The staff is super friendly and the office feels very safe in terms of the COVID protocols taken to make sure everyone stays healthy.
Daniela did my pretesting, made the process super easy and answered all the questions I had. Afterwards, I met with Dr. Darnell who was very knowledgable and patient as she looked at my eyes.

Probably one of the worst Optometry experiences I've ever had. Typically for a normal Optometry appointment I'm in and out within 45 minutes to an hour. As I sit here and type this I've been here for nearly two hours, and there appears to be no end in sight. It appears that this office may overbook patients and just had them sit around for a couple hours. The doctor herself was very nice and informative. The remainder of the staff however was not very friendly. They did keep trying to sell me on their products after repeatedly telling them no thank you. Everything here seems to be

Service was good after a 3week wait for an eye exam.. but front desk was polite. The optometrist extremely helpful..
EXCEPT for when it came time for me to PAY. I called in the following Monday after my fitting to pay over the phone. (prices w/insurance 👍🏿)
Some how the person taking the payment doesn't have ANY ACCESS to confirm your purchase. Instead I have to wait until the next day for someone to call me back.. to confirm what I'm paying for.
So my wait to SEE is waiting on someone to put a break down of what's being sold on the invoice.
"Stupid reason not to see says the guy waiting

I've had such great experiences with Delta Vista Optometry! They are centrally located, and work with the eye insurance covered by my employer. All of the staff that I came into contact with were amazing! The receptionists, medical assistants, and the eye doctor are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I was instructed to call when I got there for my appointment. Every time I call it goes to voicemail although I'm standing out front and staff is clearly visible through their covid safe locked doors. Finally, someone answers and asks me to hold. My First visit to this Office and every single personal was very happy to assist you, everyone was a pleasure to work with and the office was run very very efficiently, not a glitch. Every question I had was more than answered and I never felt as if I was being directed into purchasing expensive frames. The price of each prescription was broken down and not over priced. Dr. Buchanan is excellent and very patient when trying to figure out if 1 is better than 2 with no frustration not rushing you. The office was very clean as well and parking was easy. Such a great first time experience here. The entire staff is great and picking new glasses is never a fun time, but they all helped and made me so comfortable. I ended up changing my mind on the glasses I ordered, and they cancelled them for me the next day and were extremely nice about it! Highly recommend Delta Vista!

Very nice and professional.
They just moved one door down, so everything is nice and new.
Optometrists were kind, nice and quick and seemed to really care about their patients.
The only slight negative was they're a bit more expensive than our last optometrist, and our glasses and contacts orders all took well over a week, which seemed like a long time.
Overall a good experience. Will go back again next year.

This was a random pick on the internet. I didn’t realize how actually far it was until I GPS before I was going to appointment. Once I arrived I was greeted and treated extremely well, from beginning to end. Top of the line service! I can’t say enough about Ashley Darnell OD. She is the best optometrist I have ever seen and I’ve been wearing glasses for almost 30 years. She is kind, thoughtful and really listens. I’ve been having issues with dry eyes and she’s thought outside of the box and has helped find solutions that work specifically for me. The girls at the front desk were busy and she even got behind the desk and helped me make my follow up appt. I recommend her to anyone who is looking for a new eye doctor. I will never see anyone else.

The staff is nice but we always felt like Buchanan was trying to get us to purchase more and do more of her costly exams. One time I went for my yearly check in and she said your prescription didn't change do you want me to check your contacts? And not know this was $120 fee I said sure. Once I went to check out I notice the $120 contact fee on there as well, if your asking me if you want to check more make sure you state the price with it. The following year I went back and was told my RX didn't change at all so I said I didn't need her to check my contact RX since they were working

My Wife an I both went to delta visa first time and we must acknowledge that from appointment booking till the getting all the orders through, we had an amazing experience. We had received multiple reminders to make sure of our appointments which was good for us. Super Professional and amazingly welcoming staff they have. Pooja took care of our appointment from end to end. She was considerate enough to explain us every minute detail about our insurance v/s benefits. My family and I have been under the care of Dr. Carol Buchanan at Delta Vista Optometry since their practice opened. In my opinion, you won't find a friendlier or a more professional office anywhere! The office staff and opticians go out of their way to respond to requests and special needs, and they reliably follow through on what they say they are going to do.
