Every piece designed by Philip Voetsch is created one at a time in our Kansas City area jewelry studio by experienced designers and talented goldsmiths to insure high quality standards are met. Although many pieces are available for immediate purchase, some will have to be hand made especially for you and will take additional time.
Those of us who are artisans know we must always create. We have no choice. We take the elements and energy around us and transform them into expressions of our life and times. A place where a thought cuts a gemstone, a hammer sets it into gold and a woman puts it on her body, the jewel becomes part of her light, her energy, and her emotions.

This shop is amazing! For our wedding, we wanted to take our family rings, which had been handed down to us, and recreate them with a fresh and custom look. They helped us design the engagement ring and the wedding bands and then created them using the raw materials and diamonds from the original rings.

I brought in some designs to do custom work. I brought in three printed off pictures. I wanted to merge the ideas from the pictures to produce something new.
They flat-out told me they don't copy other people's work and told me they could not custom design my ring rudely.. So naturally I took my business to another place on main street just past the plaza. I told this other place the EXACT SAME thing, with the same pictures, that I wanted at this place and they said, "Of course you can do this, we will do that for you. We are not copying anybody's work."
If you plan on spending a couple thousand

If you are looking for a great jeweler, stop looking and go here. Absolutely fantastic customer service, friendly staff, reasonable prices. When we were looking to rebuild my wife's engagment ring, we went to three different places, all of them scoffed at our ideas, making us feel stupid for even asking. At Philip Voetsch, they were truly interested and gave us a number of different options and price ranges. The end-product was amazing and follow up service on one minor issue was resolved quickly.
Instead of going to large jewelry chain stores, I will be going to Philip Voetsch in the future.

My fiancee and I found ourselves in a time crunch. We had planned to get married in September but pushed it forward to July to have our dream wedding by eloping to a Caribbean beach. We went in on a Friday and needed our rings by Tuesday.
They were able to rush our order and at the same time craft beautiful and meaningful rings that fit our design vision. Using family heirloom rings they melted down and created exactly what we wanted in amazing time.

I needed my silver glasses repaired cause the nose piece broke. these guys have a laser welder and can fix that. So far it's holding up great. They were very friendly and accommodating. The price was perfect for the fix and they had it done within hours of dropping it off. Same day repairs? Sign me up for this company to be in the will call again category.
