This place is better than we imagined. I say we because my wife and I have been going to Method Athlete for the past three months.
We started training with Damon for golf fitness, but quickly realized what we were doing would help anyone who cares about their fitness. Damon is so good at the golf swing and has shown us ways to improve stability, mobility and strength. His knowledge goes way past the golf swing and he has helped me with my comeback from a total hip replacement as well as ways to alleviate pain in my lower back.

This place is the real deal. No matter where you are on your fitness journey, or recovery process, the training staff at Method Athlete will help you down the right path. What I love most is that every trainer is very personable & open to helping you, even if you aren't their direct customer. My Trainer, Damon, has an incredible understanding of how muscles effect movement and takes a physical therapy approach to strength and performance training. His methods have also made we very aware of how my body moves (& should move) throughout my golf swing. My game has improved tremendously

If you love golf and want to lower your scores immediately you MUST go see Damon at Method Athlete!! I am a guy that has spent hundreds, no make that thousands of dollars on so called "traditional" golf lessons that did not work for me at all! Within 5 sessions with Damon I have cut 7 strokes off my score and am hitting it 20 yards further off the tee. Golf has become fun for me again! Damon teaches you how to MOVE your body properly so you can finally maintain spine angle, get that Lag in your swing that all the pros have and finally feel and understand what "swinging from the ground up" actually

As age and stiffness were restricting my golf swing, my golf pro, Paul Trittler, suggested I see Damon Shelton to improve my flexibility and range of motion. Damon's expertise and experience were immediately evident as he quickly sorted out my issues and prescribed a series of exercises and stretches that dramatically improved my ability to swing the club. Method Athlete is the best gym I have ever been to. I say this because it's not a "gym", it's an extended family of like minded professional trainers. They take their jobs seriously, but not themselves. I have seen dramatic changes in my overall health since joining. If you stop by just once you will see what I mean. There are people of all ages and levels of ability. It is the best training environment you will find in the valley.

The trainers are all very experienced and passionate about what they do! if you have felt uncomfortable in other gyms, this is the place for you. There are clients of all ages, sizes, & fitness levels. Everyone is encouraging & dedicated to helping you reach your goals! And, you have access to nutrition information, massage, & physical therapy all under one roof. This place has a great vibe -- it feels like family AND you WILL get in better shape! I promise!

I have tried several gyms, always exited at first, but then bored and losing my drive to continue. I love Method Athlete!!!! This is a place you come to not only become stronger physically and mentally, but to be a part of a family. From the moment you walk in you feel right at home. I originally started looking for a gym where my workouts would be more focused on weight training and building strength than around endurance. I was introduced to Method by a friend and instantly fell in love. Working out with John opened up a whole new level for me. He has a way about him that makes you never want to disappoint.
