Judy Holeva DO was born in Scranton, PA ( home of "The Office" so you should ask her about that) and has more than 25 years of experience in Family Medicine with special interest in Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy, Women's Health, Adolescent Medicine, and in helping patients implement lifestyle modifications for Disease Management and Prevention.
Outside of medicine she enjoys, cooking, traveling, and all things sports. Oh, and listening to podcasts. Her staff calls her Dr. Krista Swaninger MD is an established board certified emergency medicine physician with over fifteen years of experience. She will be seeing same day visits for urgent issues at Oregon Adult Medicine.

We do prescribe medications for pain, but we do not prescribe certain classes of controlled substances such as medications like Vicodin, Oxycodone, Xanax or Ativan on a regular basis. The low rating is for Oregon Adult Medicine’s billing practices, not the doctor I saw.
I was prepared to leave a glowing review for the whole place: the doctor was amazing. Perceptive, attentive, constructive. I will continue coming to this place because of this doctor.
HOWEVER - what they don’t tell you is that they may or MAY NOT schedule you for the care you request. I requested a physical, and found out 3/4 of the way through the visit that they do not provide that care on the first visit. I had to make a separate appointment for care I put off for 18 months due to the pandemic.

Over the last 10 years I have seen my fair share of primary care doctors and specialists, Dr. Holeva is without a doubt the most approachable, professional, competent, thorough, compassionate, communicative and invested doctor I have had.
Dr. Holeva takes time to listen to and acknowledge your health concerns without making you feel rushed or unintelligent. I especially appreciate that she evaluates your wellness as a whole, not just a collection of potential disparate problems. She takes partnership with you in finding a realistic/reasonable (for you) approach to improving your health and tackling
