Usually order sandwich but for some reason it always takes forever and I do mean always take forever to get my sandwich. For example, there was only one other person who ordered a sandwich and again it took forever for a simple grilled sandwich.
The sandwich taste great by the way. You just have to have plenty of time to wait for your order.
I frequent this place in support of our local family run eateries. So make sure you've got time. Also they have tater tots on their menu which is hard to find.

My parents used to come here 30 years ago and raved about the mochas then. 30 years later, thank goodness somethings never change. The mocha was incredible, and was made with fresh melting chocolate and homemade whipped cream.
The pastries were incredible too! The bear claws were hot and fresh out of the oven...WOW! The blueberry donut was also incredible and had some sort of pecan and cream filling.
Everything was a 5 star and I definitely will be back the next time I am in town visiting family!

The cronuts are DELICIOUS. So much so that I bought some on Friday and came back on Sunday for more.
And...the service was excellent! Everyone is welcoming and, they even took my preorder by phone. I called in at 6am one day and 8am on another day to reserve some of their donuts for later pickup.
I was also touched by their generosity. I ordered a Reubenini and was super excited to try it out but they sadly ran out of sauerkraut. They asked if I wanted to change my order, get a refund, or if I wanted to add something else at a discounted price. I was eyeing their garlic Parmesan aioli tater

We ordered a cake for my daughter's 13th birthday and it was SO GOOD! We ordered a white cake with strawberries and whip cream frosting, covered with a chocolate gonache. There was beautiful gold flakes bordering the edge along with sweet flower piping next to the message. This was our first time ordering a cake from a bakery and not a grocery store. Her guests went for seconds, and it's the first time we had zero leftovers. The team is lovely and brings such a welcoming vibe and energy. I highly recommend this 3rd generation bakery and will be back again!

I always thought BCB was just for sweet treats BUT I was recently surprised to learn they were opened during the evening. I was craving pizza & when you're low carbish, the pizza needs to be amazing. There's only one size and you can go half & half. I ordered a medium garden salad and a half margarita & half grizzly bear (all meat).
I was impressed. Yes, I'd come back when the craving hits again. I failed Yelp and forgot to get pics before the pizza was devoured.

The food is very good, good waffles, good coffee, good sandwiches, the maple bacon bars are incredible.
I give this place 3 stars because the service is almost comically slow. I’ve come here to order waffles on the weekend with only two other people in line and it’s taken 45 minutes to get my order. This is not an exaggeration nor is it unusual for my experience here.
5 stars for the food, 1 star for the patients required to get it, rounds out to 3 stars overalls

Excellent local bakery! They not only have a great bakery selection, but at night they have phenomenal pizza! The pizza is absolutely loaded with toppings! If you have pickier kids, they also sell tater tots. Plus for the adults a great beer selection all from local breweries both on tap and canned. If you're in the neighborhood they are worth visiting, and they remember you if you go back! Such excellent customer service here, it really makes you feel like you're part of the family.

The Bear Claw Bakery & Cafe is such a cute bakeshop located in downtown Pinole. I've been eyeing this place for a while now. I decided to stop by yesterday on 03/23/21.
I got a Ham & Salami sandwich and a buttermilk coffee cupcake. The sandwich was so fresh and tasty! As far as the cupcake, it was the best-baked good I had in so long. It's not overly sweet and it is a great combination of when crunchy meets a moist texture.
Additionally, the girls working the front counter were so friendly and amiable. I was greeted with a warm welcome into the shop.
Overall, I was amazed

We just moved to Pinole this week (into our very first house) and after a day of moving and packing and virtual teaching decided to explore and found what can only be described as a neighborhood gem! We ordered the Hot Chic and Tuna Melt Paninis and both were absolutely delicious, packed with flavor, and perfectly toasted! The gentleman behind the counter was so helpful and sweet. He described all of the specials and told us about possible breakfast options for our inevitable return. He also offered us two small buttermilk coffee cakes free of charge to welcome us to the neighborhood. How CHARMING
