Worse dentist EVER!!! If you can't keep your words, DO NOT MAKE THEM! I understand your protocols but if you had told your clients you could do something, even witnessed by your staffed, you shall keep your words! That's why I hate going to these unprofessional, mikey mouse doctors!!! The only good thing about this office is the super nice receptionists!! Really too bad because my husband was going to spend $600 for his deep cleaning at this office, it is going to another dentist now!

By far the most unprofessional and organized lack of time management dentist I've ever been to in my entire life. I was referred here by client/friend and due to the experience we both just had it safe to say that will be looking for a new dentist. If you're not capable of running two locations don't have them. I don't understand how you scheduled me in San Jose for tooth replacement to then tell me when I get to my appointment that you don't have what you need there and if I can wait an hour so you can go to the other location to pick it up. I've been a patient of Dr. Sylvestre for several years. She always takes the time to go over xrays and address my concerns for treatment. She's very thorough and really cares about her patients. I wish her offices were closer as she only has two- Newark and San Jose. It would be great if she had a location along the Peninsula.

After a very long stint with no regular dental visits (about 6 years), I went to Gorgeous Smile and had a great experience. She was very willing to work with me to make the dental work I needed fit my budget.
I've had a deep cleaning here, 2 fillings, and am now in the process of getting a crown finished up. The staff is always helpful and polite, and I feel that they're really interested in giving me the best care they can.
I especially appreciate how the staff is always willing to work with me financially. I'm happy to be a regular customer here.

5 STAR DENTIST?? NO WAY!!! How about NO STAR DENTIST?! Dr. Precilyn B. Silvestre is the worst example of a caring, compassionate, understanding Dentist, that I've ever seen. STAY AWAY form her! She does not pay attention to what patient needs or wants! One time I was there for her to repair a crown, she gave me a temp one that she knew was going to fall out. When it did come loose about a week & a half later I went back in and she pointed to a completely different tooth & said "You're here for this tooth right?".. I said "Nooo" and she said "Yes

HORRIBLE STAFF!
Long waiting times. I had to wait more than 40 minutes, and the staff told me to be there 15 minutes early. I would not come here again. The Asian Filipino dentist is really terrible. I asked to go get a crown, but when she applied the anesthesia, I still feel the incredible pain.
I would not come again. Go somewhere else.

Writing this review because I feel like I need to warn people, especially the easy ones and the ones desperate to get their teeth fixed. Please get a second opinion. My experience here was kind of weird.
I got this Groupon deal for a set of veneers because my previous dentist, who moved out of town, said that's what I need. So I went to their clinic and that's when the sketchy talk begins.
The doctor basically told me that veneers won't work for my teeth and that I need a crown instead (which was more expensive). This is contrary to what my previous dentist have said. But she went

This review is a little late but needed and I hope it will help fellow yelpers make a better choice when coming to pick a general dentist.
First off, the staffs and dentist all seem like nice pleasant folks. Friendly and hospitable. But when it comes to the work and finance part; please do the research, get a second opinion and voice your needs and concerns.
My teeth became super sensitive after their cleaning, Dr. Silvestre was hard on my teeth and the experience was painful.

The dreaded trip to the dentist as my son's teeth got major problems despite his brushing and flossing. Saw Dr Ajie Silvestre-Melo today and I went first so he can see the tools she uses and have an idea of what she does. When it was his turn, she was super patient with him, explaining every step as she goes. Finally got that huge gap fixed just in time for preschool! The bonus: no anesthetics needed!! Love her! Thank you Dr. Silvestre-Melo!!

I love coming to Dr. Silvestre - every time I have needed something looked at or done it has always been fixed immediately and with zero issues. And if I have an issue afterwords (like a filling not fitting right that's hard to notice since my mouth is numb) she's always willing to go back and fix it with no problem! I actually had my tooth broken during surgery to remove my tonsils recently and she fixed my tooth in a matter of 30-45 mins - not to mention it was my TOP FRONT tooth and it looks amazingly beautiful even compared to what it used to look like before it was broken! I have been afraid of the dentist since a bad visit when I was 12. Dr. Silvestre makes every effort to make you comfortable and is extremely responsive to your needs. I am still afraid, but I trust her. I went in today to fill several cavities. While I was there she also evened out a chipped front, tooth and gave me my smile back. Her work has been beyond expectation!

I bought a groupon for a dental cleaning with xrays. At the end of the visit, Dr. Silvestre told me I had to have two different procedures done. One for a cavity that did not hurt and a deep cleaning. It was worth around $900 in total. In disbelieve I went back home to my usual dentist to get this procedures done and he also took xrays to verify. It turned out to be a lie, he told me that I didnt have a cavity or need a deep cleaning. My teeth were in great shape. She tried to sell me a procedure that I did not need! So be careful!!!! Get a second opinion!
