Well, Luckee Dutch is a family owned and operated bakery. Our lineage includes both Irish and Dutch heritage that inspired the bakery's name. And to make sure you will remember us, we replaced the "y" with "ee" for that added spice. We insist on using only the finest and freshest ingredients around.

When deciding on a bakery for your wedding there are so many things to consider: how many desserts to offer your guests, what flavors to provide, how many dessert choices you'd like to go with? Let's be honest, it's all about the cake! Whether you want a six-tiered show-stopping cake adorned with all of the elegance of a Hollywood ceremony, or a more practical expression, it should be an extension of you.
Well, our pies can relate! So much filling the crust can barely contain it! And the fruit? You can taste the rasp in the raspberries, the tart of the apples, and the sweet sweet nectar of the peaches. Our pies are never filled with purple pectin or red jelly that's supposed to pass for blackberry or cherry.
We are a shared kitchen, so for those with extreme gluten sensitivities, please note that there is the potential for cross-contamination from gluten flour. But we do all that we can to keep this to an absolute minimum. All wheat-free product is handled with extreme care in one section to the bakery devoted exclusively to wheat-free production (including the separation of dedicated tools, and mixing equipment).

I ordered the chocolate croissant and cinnamon roll. The croissant was packed with delightful Belgian chocolate to the max and the cinnamon roll was filling with just the right amount of icing. Service was good. Only reason I'm placing 4 stars instead of 5 was the lack of beverage variety (their board only had one option: coffee).

GF champagne cake with cream cheese and lemon filling. It was made special for my mother in law who LOVES Mermaids! She was SO happy with this Birthday Cake. It was wonderful, moist and the lemon filling was perfectly balanced with the sweetness of the frosting.
If you are looking for a great Baker for GF peeps this is the place for you!

This family-run bakery is top notch!. I was in town for a friend’s surprise 40th birthday and on very short notice ( less than 48 hours) They were able to create a beautiful custom cake for 20 people. They even stayed open past their closing time to complete decorating it and allow me to pick it up. It was not only absolutely gorgeous but also delicious. Thank you all for helping to surprise a very special birthday girl!

I'm afraid to post about this place because I might not be able to get my favorite loaf of gluten free brown bread. I make grilled cheese with it. That's not all they have by any means. Their gluten-free cinnamon roll s are better than any I've had wheat or not. It's a family run business and they are a nice group of folks.

My friend and I stopped by for a mid-morning snack to go. Although I'm not gluten intolerant, the cobbler bar looked tasty, and I appreciated they had a whole separate gluten-free case. The cobbler bar was delicious. I'd never had a cobbler bar which had two fruit flavors on either side. The flavors were fresh and not too sweet. The texture was fluffy and a nice cake.

The staff was friendly and the food seemed fresh. I just wish they would use a bit more sugar in their pastries. If you are wanting a really sweet treat, you should probably go elsewhere. If you feel typical American pastries are too sweet, then please give Luckee Dutch a try. They might be just what you are looking for.

This review is long overdue. Yamhill County is very fortunate to have such a wonderful bakery. They offer both gluten-free and wheat products. Their GF breads, cinnamon rolls, chocolate croissants, brownies etc. are delicious. But what I love the most are their pies and cakes. Their artistry and attention to detail are incredible. I was in yesterday and if I hadn't already bought 5 pies, cupcakes, dinner rolls, and cinnamon rolls, I would have considered their Santa cake. It was beautifully designed and the presentation was unique and festive. This is a family business and they work

This is a small, family-run shop, but boy do they know how to bake. Their gluten-free cinnamon rolls are hands-down the best I've had anywhere. You never quite know what is going to be in the display case, but it's all delicious. And if you're lucky you may walk in on a day they made gluten-free croissants or pie as well.

This amazing bakery is located in the heart of old town Newberg, one block from my office. I've had their baked goods on several occasions, but today was the first time I actually stopped in to the bakery. The business is family owned and operated, and I was greeted by siblings (co-owners). They were personable and knowledgable, and seemed genuinely interested in getting to know their neighbors. Baked goods were awesome!

All I wanted was a yummy carrot cake for my birthday and my boyfriend ordered one from Luckee Dutch. Believe me when I tell you this was the best cake I've ever had. So moist, so flavorful and downright perfect. First time ordering anything from them and now I know where I can go if I want a solid cake for any future occasion. 10/10 would recommend!! Thanks for making my birthday cake so delicious!!

I called this bakery last minute before my sisters birthday, she didn't want a cake she wanted an apple pie. I called Luckee and they squeezed in a gluten free apple for the same day! I went in to pick it up and I got attended right away, the lady in the front showed me the pie before I went home with it. The pie was delicious!! I'll definitely be back to order from this bakery and recommend to friends and family. Thanks Luckee!!

Hey this place is so nice to have if you cant eat gluten. Great GF products!
Today I bought 2 loaves of bread and 2 cinnamon rolls, GF.
On the way home I got into a loaf of bread. It had some mold so I have to throw it all away.
I know you guys will reimburse me another loaf. I don't see it being moldy as a bad thing necessarily.
It just means you're making me some real food!
The young man was kind enough to sell me some GF products after they were closed.
Thank you for being there and I will stop in the next time I am in Newberg and get a re placement loaf.

We called Luckee Dutch today in a panic. Another bakery couldn't accommodate our request for a gluten free wedding cake, and we went in search for another baker. We'd heard good things about this bakery and gave them a call. They were so awesome and were able to make us the cake of our dreams! A+++ for customer service.

Update: so went in this morning and got a ham and cheese croissant and a raspberry cheesecake coffee cake. OMG to die for.
Having lived in France, their croissants are amazing. I've had nothing even close ... until this morning. Everything was perfect. The texture, the flavor, the experience.
The coffee cake was amazing as well. I'm glad I took everything home or I'd have had seconds and thirds, even though I was stuffed. Every bite had flavor, even the edges.
I went a little on the late side for them, so these were not my first choices, but it's what they had available

Do not judge a book by its cover. This unassuming bakery is attached to a gas station convienient store that is cranking out some tasty baked goods and deli items. The gluten free options alone should attract crowds. I highly recommend the Pastrami Special on gluten free French bread. It takes 8-12 minutes to make this masterpiece but it's well worth the wait.

Seriously delicious baked goods - breads, cookies, and cinnamon rolls. I don't say that lightly either. I spent the first 30 years of my life on the other side of the country where I think everything is better, and I harshly and perhaps unfairly judge Oregon for not being Philly or Baltimore or Boston or NYC, so pretty much if you are located in Oregon, in my head you've already failed. This place is a level of good that surprises me, and it both emphasizes how shockingly homesick I am, while making me feel a little closer to home.
