The owner/operator, Chessa, has been in the food industry for over 17 years with a focus on baking and pastry for over 11 years. She and her husband, Trevor, started the bakery with the hopes of bringing the community together to brighten up this lovely city we all call home. Juicy Organic Chicken dressed in Greek Yogurt, Mustard, Celery, Apple, Pickled Raisins, Onions, and Cilantro.

I have lived in the area for over 21 years never have I noticed this place so my husband wanted to come in get a pastry. He was behind me when I came in with my chihuahua in his stroller she yelled an pointing at me to get the dog out .
Now I have seen enough Karen videos where this set me off ! If she would have have a better understanding when I told her he is a service dog . She demanded to know where his jacket was I told he doesn’t need one . He is one when I say he is . As a HEPA. Disability act she steps all over my rights she has not rights to ask those questions! This I know fact !

Oooh Yum! Ever time I go in there I find a new delicious treat. Pumpkin poptarts SO good♡ I bought a breakfast bagel too with herbed cream cheese in an asiago bagel, scrumptious! I was surprised to see a large array of house plants available for sale. Who knew it would add to a peaceful vibe. Oh and the chai, is heavenly. Right now they have a Christmas cookie assortment and pies you can order. Great to have to gift or for those family members who are visiting for the holidays.

We LOVE this bakery! Our family comes here every weekend for special treats. We love their bagels, their breakfast sandwiches, their coffee, macaroons, cupcakes, cookies…we’ve liked everything we’ve ever had here. Everything is really fresh and delicious & the staff is super friendly! It’s a great to study as well. Highly recommend!

We ordered my son's 8th birthday cake from here and we weren't impressed. The cake was over baked and crumbly, the icing was very waxy. They did our wedding cake a few months back and it was absolutely amazing. But wouldn't recommend a birthday cake I was sad because I know they have potential. (Update) the cake is not edible. But they would like to offer a discount. My sons birthday cake was under impressive and we couldn't eat it. But offering a discount on the third cake. At least try and make up for the second one. He is 8 and he didn't understand.

What a marvelous place for breakfast, lunch, and coffee! Delicious desserts, treats, and bagels made fresh everyday from local ingredients! We’ve been going here since they opened and they treat us like family! All the benefits of a farmers market baker, but open every day! Highly, highly recommend!

My husband and I recently moved to Canby and were delighted to find Baker’s Prairie — it is the only small (non-chain) business in the area serving espresso drinks on Sunday’s. The owner, Chessa, and her staff are so welcoming and use the finest ingredients in everything they make (ex: Metolius teas). They also feature the coolest local art!! We are excited to visit again soon to try the sandwiches. 😋

My grandmother loves your tiramisu. I picked up a serving to go last weekend and delivered it to her. She called me back the next day and said she had intended to only eat half so she could enjoy some the next night too. But nope, she ate the whole thing and wanted to know when I would be driving by again to get more.

Glory be, we have a bakery in Canby! My boys and I loved visiting Baker’s Prairie at the Canby farmers market, and I am so glad they have a location now. The Decore is modern and simple. The seating, similar to the Starbucks that was there before, is excellent. The long narrow nature of this always lend it self to plenty of two seat tables, which is what I prefer. But there is also a nice communal area with a couch and chairs.
Oh and did I mention the baking is to die for?
Great Metolius Tea Chai as well.
