The only 4-time winner of Cupcake Wars on the Food Network, Kyra Bussanich learned to bake gluten-free in a desire to reclaim her health.

Custom decoration and embellishments on the cake will add to the final price, so please email with specific design questions. Please include any images of the design you are desiring. We offer 4 flavors of shooters (mini cupcakes) that include your choice cake, filling, and frosting for $42. The tasting is designed for two people.
Contact us to place a customized order! We have been extremely busy and with limited staff; as such, we require a 2 week minimum advanced notice for cake and cupcake pre-orders (weekly flavor orders do not require a 2 week notice). Kyra's Bake Shop is only able to take a certain number of pre-orders for any given day; therefore we recommend placing your order as soon as possible to avoid any potential availability issues.

Ordering 2 weeks in advance does not guarantee your desired pick-up date but we will try our best based on our order capacity. If we are able to accommodate your order past a 2 week notice, there will be a 20% rush fee applied to your order.
Looking to snag some of our weekly menu flavors? No need to give a 2 week advanced notice, we do ask for a 24 hour notice to ensure that we are able to fulfill your desired flavors. The level of customer service does not match the price point of the menu items. If you're going to charge $80+ for a dozen donuts, customers deserve excellent service, which means giving them options to resolve problems... not just when it benefits the shop. I ordered online. Not sure *how* it happened but my pick up date got scheduled for a day on which I wasn't even going to be in town yet. I don't think it was 100% my error tbh but i definitely didn't catch it in time. I also inadvertently paid late. Of course the shop was willing to violate their own policy of canceling

I bought three cupcakes (one was good and the other two were "ok"). I paid $8.75 for two doughnuts that were the worst I have ever had. They were so dry, they crumbled into pieces and the frosting fell off into tiny pieces. There was no way to chew them. I emailed them and their "quality manager" said they do daily checks and they were all in good order. I guess it is insane to pay $8.75 for two doughnuts to begin with, right?!!
I will never go here again. They advertise being "Cupcake War" winners. Wouldn't it be great if the quality was what they won with?

This place used to be my go- to for yummy breakfast sandwiches donuts and other sweet treats. However, last weekend a group of us met here for Saturday morning donuts and coffee- I had hoped to grab a breakfast sandwich as well but the girl behind the counter said they no longer offer the full menu on weekends. And on top of that there was no coffee- NO COFFEE! Not even just regular drip coffee- nothing. We had to run to a nearby Starbucks. Worst of all their very expensive donuts were dry and not that fresh tasting. I hate to say it- but I doubt I'll be back.

Kyra's makes delicious baked goods that are gluten free (and many are dairy free too). The apple cranberry pie for Thanksgiving was SO TASTY! Dinner rolls yummy... even the gluten-eaters in my family loved them. The staff is also very helpful with ingredient info so we can manage our food allergies.

Purchased rolls and a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. Rolls had no flavor. It was like they forgot the salt. Pie crust so thick and dry. After tasting, we ended up throwing in the trash. No one liked either item. Also very overpriced. Very disappointed as I saw such good reviews. Maybe just a bad baking day.

This place is excellent! One of my best friends has celiac so she introduced me to a this place saying this was where she was getting her wedding cake from! Needless to say the cinnamon rolls get mentioned by everyone as being phenomenal; the cupcakes & cakes nearly make me want to weep they are so good. The savory breakfast bits & good ole BLATs are some of my favorite treats. And the customer service is AWESOME! Everyone is SO nice & helpful even at the busiest moments. Please be sure to tip!!

We go to Kyra's all the time, it's in our local community and it's a great place to go for people with dairy free issues as well. I bring my daughter there most days after school. We went there to get a muffin. Their Internet was down so their Apple Pay wasn't working. Since I was walking from school I didn't have my wallet thus could not pay for the muffin.
I asked them if there was any other options like if I could Venmo someone. They wouldn't help me and it was quite frustrating. My daughter was really sad she couldn't have a muffin even though it was bagged

I ordered two things - a savory pastry with spinach and artichoke. The filling was very good. The pastry was meh--seemed day old, not fresh. But I also treated myself to one of the few things that were dairy free, which was a maple donut. OMG it was divine. It was non-greasy, very cakey, and not too sweet. I devoured it. I'll be back for more of those.

Please forgive me as this is my first bad review, but i actually think it could help a future bride so I am at peace with it. I really, really wanted to like Kyras Bake Shop! It was seeing all of these great experiences on yelp that made us choose them in the first place.
This review is for my experience ordering a wedding cake here.. I seriously would not recommend going with them for your big day.
For our cake tasting, I was SO excited I could barely contain myself on the way over! That excitement was slowly chipped away by the person who was not wearing a mask and was very, very rude to us

All i can say is - wow! I reached out to Kyra's Bakery after having difficulty finding any bakery in the area that would be willing to do a mirror glaze. They were willing to take this on, and sent me multiple drafts via email to give feedback on the coloring of the glaze. The final product was amazing! Not to mention - no one at our wedding had ANY idea the cake was gluten free. Super good and great customer service accommodating a unique request! Thank you for hearing me out, executing my vision for this cake, and making our wedding day extra special!

I can't understand the hype or the awards. We tried 3 varieties of cupcakes and a donut. They were dry and tasted old. My wife asked if I accidentally bought pastries meant for dogs (they sell those, too). The other food might be better.
If you're serious about cupcakes, go to Saint Cupcake. You won't be disappointed.

I tried the dairy free doughnuts and wow! I also had a cinnamon roll (yes Two things. I'm putting on my covid 19lbs) the cinnamon is AMAZING! Warm it up for 30 sec in the microwave then bring it to my house I mean then eat it warm with a fork and you won't regret it.
Ive been here many times and it's always top notch. Everything I've eaten has been amazing. Def make sure this is on your list of places

We are not Gluten Free but this is an amazing bakery through and through! We have made it a habit to stop by for coffee and something to eat and the assortment is always fantastic (unless they have run out for the day).

I have only been here twice and both times I was happy I stopped. I bought cupcakes and cinnamon rolls both times - bought them to give to my staff as a reward and thanks.
The tasty desserts are just that, TASTY and well worth your time and mileage to truck in here and get some.
I do not normally go for chocolate cupcakes, well maybe more often than I think but it is not the one I normally look at first. I loved it so much the first time I HAD to get it again the second.
Anyway, good spot and it is very much deserving of your patronage.

It's difficult to write an accurate review of Kyra's because each of my experiences have been so completely different.
5 stars for inconsistency
3 stars for service - sometimes great, sometimes terrible
3 stars for product taste - sometimes awesome, sometimes really not good
1 star for product availability - 50/50 chance of something tempting me
2 stars for staff knowledge - maybe they know, but they aren't going to share
4 stars for the ($39) gluten free pecan pie - 4 stars is generous, crust was flavorless and too thick around the edge

I am the biggest fan of Cupcake Wars and have been wanting to visit Kyra's since her episodes aired on Food Network. I'm happy to say that I really enjoyed my experience!
Red velvet: 5/5. Excellent flavor and texture of the cupcake that was moist and and the frosting was nice and tangy but not too sweet. A must have!
Chocolate hazelnut: 4/5. Texture of the cake was great as well as flavor. However the frosting was far too sweet and there was way too much of it!

I've known about Kyras for some time - I mean it's won cupcake wars several times and is a staple in Lake Oswego.
I finally made my way there recently and I was truly blown away. There is absolutely no way you can tell their items are gluten free. In fact - they tasted better than anything I've had before! And bonus - I didn't feel crappy afterwards.

It's been over a month and still nobody has called me back. They must have enough business and customers that they can afford to not care about our experiences..... so dissatisfied and disappointed that they are a local business that only seems to care about taking our money!!!

Decided to pay this place a visit after hearing my gluten free friend rave about it, saying it was her favorite gluten free bakery in Portland. Parking lot was small (2 rows) and can be confusing at times as the lines have long faded away.
They have both indoor and outdoor seating available. The weather was nice so we opted for the picnic benches outside. I wasn't sure what to get, as it was my first time. I thought there would only be cakes and pastries available, but the shop also have breakfast & lunch options including sandwiches, salads, and bagels.

The chocolate caramel ecstasy from Kyra's bakeshop was the best freaking cupcake I've ever had. Right flavors right texture right amount of sweet but not too sweet. I've also had their cinnamon roll and it's also amazing. Was a little underwhelmed by the red velvet cupcake. But I also had one of their donuts and it was sooooooo good. I don't even like donuts.
