When I first went in to buy bike tires they asked what size and when I told them what I knew they said to bring in the bike, wheels, or tires. There are multiple sub sizes for my ol 26 x 1 3/8” tires. They didn’t want to sell me the wrong parts. I came back and they fixed me up quickly and competitively. I’ll be back

I was visiting KC to see friends and family. I couldn't wait to hit the trails when I arrived so I picked the closest one to my dad's. I lost a glove after the ride and new I was going to have a bigger ride over the weekend so the hunt was on. I was a bit nervous finding any good glove because of the short supply of riding gear in shops. I'm picky and not many shops carry a good supply. I got to Dave's Bike Shop 30 minutes before they opened to window shop incase I needed to hunt another shop. Knowledgeable staff, helped me pick out a tire pump for my Priority 600 bicycle. Answered my question about the tire values on my bike. Turns out I have Presta values which requires removing the plastic cap and opening the valve so that you can activate the plunger inside when you connect the bike pump to the tire. Also warned me about releasing the valve lock after I pump up the tire it can snap quite strongly

I have met Dave, his wife and two sales people. They all were very help and personal. Dave's does not feel like a big bike box store. They all answered my questions. No one rushed or abandoned me. Dave is even going to deliver my bike because I haven't installed a hitch for the bike rack I ordered from them. Great service.

These guys were very knowledgeable and helpful. Dave's Bike shop got my Trek 7.2 Hybrid set up with some fresh tires and provided lightening fast service. They have a great inventory and convenient location. They have lots of staff and a very friendly environment. This is a great place for anyone looking to get started with a bike or even if you've owned one for years, they can fix you up.

Dave’s Bike Shop is exactly what you want in a LBS. Responsive friendly people and quality work. I rarely buy anything new and Dave made sure that I picked the right sized bike and was able to have it assembled same day since I was driving an hour to pick it up. I wish they were closer because they were such friendly people to work with.
