I bought a new Cervelo here about a year and a half ago. Before that they serviced my Giant. They are simply the best, most knowledgeable bike store in town. Before discovering Elite I used a number of other stores throughout the city for service. No other stores come close to the level of service they provide. They also have a fantastic selection of bikes and accessories. I would not shop a else.

I stopped by Elite looking for help , to fix a shifter on my Trek Mountain Bike. One guy looked at it and thought it probably needed a new shifter and they were on back order till October. Jackson another associate working on other bikes, took it upon himself to check out my bike and see if he could fix it . After about 20 minutes, he made it happen. Service like this doesn’t happen very often. I was appreciative and will Recommend them to everyone!! Thanks again for the Great service Jackson and Team!!

I can't say enough good things about this bike shop! They are incredibly knowledgable and willing to take the time with their customers. I also really appreciate thier low pressure sales approach. They were willing to let me ride several very expensive triathlon bikes and took the time to adjust them to me so I could have the best experience!

I don’t have much experience with Elite, but they had the Domane bottom bracket we needed, which is more than the Trek Store could offer. The store itself is well stocked with bikes, parts, nutrition and other gear (helmets/shoes/apparel). They also have a dedicated bike fit area too. If I lived closer to the Leawood area, I’d consider Elite as one of my go-to shops.

Over $150 for a minor tune-up and gooseneck. My shifters were backwards but I forgot to point it out. You'd think a professional bike shop would fix that as part of a tune-up? Nope? It wasn't an oversight either. When I asked the owner svout it, checking out, he said he had noticed that and thought it was wierd. I'll find another shop next time

I went to Elite Cycling to buy new tubes for the wheels on my stroller. The clerk carried in stroller while I was holding my daughter. He then checked the tires and informed me that I wouldn't need new tubes, and showed me the tip on keeping air in the stroller tires. He gave me good advice on an air pump and then carried the stroller out for me. The service and advice were both exceptional. I highly recommend this shop.

I was in the market for a new mountain bike and after shopping around ended up at elite cycling. They did a great job of listening to my needs and finding a bike that fit my price point. They even ordered a bike to fit me as I am 6'5" with no obligation to buy it. After a test ride I purchased the bike and have been riding trails around Kansas City. I had an issue where the chain broke just a few days in to owning the bike. The staff was quick to respond and replace the chain. They even cleaned up the bike for me as well. Highly recommend.

Jeff and the guys at Elite are the best! I just got my bike tuned up for the summer. It's always a pleasure working with them. They are extremely knowledgeable and they go out of their way to educate you to be a better consumer. The store has grown over the years and they have an amazing selection of bikes.

I have been using Elite for many years and spent more money there than I care to admit. Jeff at Elite does a great job with people. He gives you lots of facts and not a lot of sales pitches, which is great. I have found him to guide me in my purchasing decisions to do what is in my best interest and not just the business which is refreshing and hard to find these days. If you are going to purchase a bike in Kansas City, I can not recommend and better place!!!!

My wife and I came here after visiting BikeSource. They had to build the dual sport bike we wanted to try out and told us to come back in twenty minutes. We drove up to Mission Farms and were immediately greeted by an associate and talked through our options, what we wanted, what we looked at at other shops, and what they had. He grabbed a bike down for me to try, then grabbed one for my wife. We rode around in the parking lot and liked them. We told him our thoughts and he walked us over to the catalogue and showed us a few more options.

My experience with Elite has been very good. Jeff does an outstanding job working on my Bike when I do not have time or the tools to do what I need and he gets the higher end parts I want without any argument or complaints like other bike shops. I feel I get immediate service and not pushed to the side, the more they grow the better they get not the inverse as I have seen with other shops. Always a good attitude and friendly. I am very glad to have them as friends and a great shop near home. Great job guys..!

I was a complete novice in the cycling world when I discovered them a year ago and Jeff and his staff have always given me their very best... from information/education on bikes - to accessories and other equipment. Elite moved to Mission Farms in Leawood, KS (you can see the building from 435 and Mission Rd). Every time I've been there, Jeff, the owner, has been nothing but helpful and courteous.
Yes, he does sell high-end stuff, and high-end bike stuff is EXPENSIVE. Nothing against Elite. If you want to go ride Treks and Specializeds, go to Bike America or Bike Source. If you want a little nicer bike, come here. At least check them out. Jeff does have high-end gear, but he also doesn't stick to MSRP as religiously as Bike Source does.
