While my vehicle was supposed to be being serviced it never was not properly stored and they allowed my vehicle to be damaged by a worker and then when I picked up my vehicle , the speakers and box and amp were stolen out of my trunk ! When I said something about it to Quianna the lady at the desk she has been giving me the run around for several weeks saying she has to check the cameras and get back with me . The workers stole my property and caused the damage and they are trying to be cowards and not pay for me to be whole again ! Bad business practices I’m definitely going to call the BBB

Visited this shop for 3 months last year and I'd seem lionel the owner try to repair vehicles that should have been towed to a salvage yard...but he did his best to do the repairs ..at the same time being disrespected & sometimes even threatened because he couldn't save the vehicle...he's a professional & what he does & i tell him stop servicing vehicles that's not salvageable...then see how your review goes...trying to help people you can't is bad for anyone's business.

I took my car in to get it checked. They sent me everything that was wrong in their eyes what was wrong with my car. The main problem was the transmission had went bad. I paid 2000+ dollars to get it fixed just for my car to go out on me a week later which is today. My mom also took her car there as well and she had to go back and forth twice already and now here it is her car stop working again for a third time today it Cut off in the middle of the street. And now they are not answering the phone for me or her. This place is a fraud.

I’m not finished dealing with them so I will keep you updated here but if I don’t get my car today you may need to follow me on Instagram because I have the whole Chicago following me which will ensure a crippling affect on this business. They make you book and appointment which turns out to only be an appoint to drop your car off and fill out paper work you have already filed online. They don’t even LOOK at your car until 1-2 business days and in my case THE THIRD. It took them 72 hours to do the first diagnostic in which they found nothing. Set a appointment on 4/17/21 to have a level 2 diagnostic dne for engine repair here it is 4/29/21 still nothing didn’t think It’ll be 2+weeks later and still nothing to let me know what’s going on with my vehicle after scheduling a appointment no calls or updates. Hands down the best shop in Chicago! Their professionalism was top notch and I felt like my car and my belongings was going to be taken care of. I can tell everyone is hard at work over at Irvin's Auto Care. Once I got home and really looked at my car I could see they did everything I asked about and even made recommendations on what could cause problems down the road and how they can fix it.

Everything was great from the start. Miss Denise was really lovely from the moment I made the appointment via phone. She was just as lovely when checking me in. She explained everything very thoroughly, got all my information so I could be updated via text, email, and/or phone.

Absolutely horrible service! DO NOT COME TO THIS AUTO REPAIR! I have elderly parents and this place took advantage of them on several occasions. My parents brought their car in twice for a leak in the coolant , then they try and fix other parts of the car that wasn't even broken to begin with! It's outrageous , honestly this shop just scams you. Literally the first time they brought the car in for the coolant leak they said it was the radiator (which was claimed to be replaced) a month later the same problem ( No heat) happens again! These mechanics who called themselves (technicians) in my opinion are nothing but alley mechanics with a garage, the owner so-called diagnose my problem, gave me a high price I didn't fight with him about the price and experience the same problem 4 times before telling me it's another problem after thoroughly checking it the first time "BS!! I wouldn't recommend this shop to my worst enemy or trust them to put a mouse trap together I'm giving it five thumbs down, most likely the people who critique this shop well are probably friends and relatives.

If you want your car fixed right, then Irvin's Auto Care is NOT the place for you. The shop is under new ownership and unfortunately has not stood up to the quality repairs of the previous owner. My Dad and husband has used this shop several times with no problems so I decided to give them a try. They are extremely slow and claim if you want the work done right, it takes time. I had my bumper replaced in August $400, this is November and the bumper is literally hanging off. Absolutely an excellent place to go to for car repair! They are prompt with getting back to you after you drop your vehicle off to tell you the repairs needed. The prices are very reasonable and they can do just about any repair needed. We took my daughters Jeep in, they fixed in and the ride is much better now. Keep up the good work Lionel!!

Irvin's Auto Care is undoubtedly one of the best shops I've been to in the Chicagoland area. I came there needing an oil change, a brake light installment, a new muffler, and my left side view mirror fixed. They completed all four jobs perfectly AND at an extremely affordable price! I was shocked by the quality of work and the price they charged. I will definitely come back the next time my car needs service.

This place has been nothing but awesome! I'm surprised at the other reviews seeing that I was treated with nothing but respect. I bought my car in for a loud knocking noise in the engine. I was informed that I needed a new engine. The owner worked with me to keep the price down to a minimum. When my car wasnt ready as promised (not the owners fault), I was promptly notified. The owner's wife even helped me with the rates for my rental. The young lady in the reception area (her name escapes me) was very pleasant. She reminds me of a little sis that I'd love to have. I am so glad I listened to my Co-worker who referred me to Irvines auto care. They greeted me at the front desk and was ready to assist my needs. It is so hard trying to find good reliable honest auto car. The guy told me the business was under new management. He was straight forward with me about everything. He told me his pricing would be fair, but the work would be guaranteed to satisfy, because he wanted repeat good business. He got my car in right away, and then went over everything with me. He gave me several options, and told me what needed to be done first, and what could wait if money

My daughter's vehicle needed a new engine and I received estimates of $5500 and $4800 before stopping by Irvin's and meeting the new owners. They were able to get a similar engine and install it in 3 days for just under $4000. I love the fact that it is my neighborhood in addition to the service and attention I received from Lionel. They were also very open to the feedback I had. I will definitely go back again.

This shop is straight up robbing ppl, brought an old car for daughter and wanted to have it checked out, Mr Irvin came up with oil pan, water pump,, rack& pinion, brakes and rotors all front and back,, just for the water pump would be $288.96 for part and labor, the water pump would be $100.64 I immediately called Auto zone, the water pump with life time guarantee, was $55, so then I firgure I'd check all the other prices he said for parts, and yes all was over charged, I brought the pump on my own and had a alley mechanic put it on,cost me $70 also that mehanic told me all that stuff

Friendly, thorough, and most importantly fast. Was on a cross country drive before my fuel injectors failed on me. Had a dealership quote me for the same repairs and this place saved me close to 50%. Plus, they got it done quick enough for me to hop back on the road and finish my looong drive. Was in dire straights but they took care of me. Truly appreciate it!

We should have known better than to go to a place that hasn't been reviewed by ANYONE in over two years!!! And two of these reviews seem pretty generic. They don't tell me anything! First of all, a warranty. What is a warranty? To me it means that this company is GUARANTEEING me that their equipment, parts, and service will be satisfactory.
