Lovely Thai is a family own and operated business that is passionate about creating quality Thai food that is authentic and affordable. Thailand has four different regions, Central, North, East, and South, each with their own dialect, culture, and variation of foods. From each of these regions, we strive to recreate their signature dishes using the freshest ingredients.

Wonton filled with finely chopped chicken or vegetables and fried (can be made steamed also). 12 sushi styled rolls made with seasoned eggs, tofu, bean sprouts and cucumbers in a wheat wrap.

Once a favorite, but I feel it is pretty sad that at the end of Oct 2021, the dining room is still not open. Restaurants across Lake County and the state have been open for months. I don't like to patronize establishments that don't open the dining room - it is very chrap. They are severely hurting jobs and wages for servers and wait staff. Have the fun of going to a restaurant is dining out. Their is no state or county restriction saying the dining must be closed.

Love this place! The pad Thai is some of the best around and the Bangkok tofu is literally bangin. Even if you’re not vegetarian: get the Bangkok tofu.

Food tastes really good. But multiple times when I call 25-30 min before close for a single entree I can hear the person pick up the phone and hang it up. Change your hours if your not wanting to serve people.

Tried it for the first time tonight. The food was pretty good.
The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because I ordered Pad Thai with added chicken and requested lime wedges on the side.
Got the Pad Thai but didn’t get chicken or lime.

I ordered take out during my lunch hour and they had everything ready for me to pick up promptly after calling in my order. I enjoyed all the live decorations while I waited to be checked out.

All-around great Thai restaurant, can’t go wrong with pad Thai and barbecue pork. The simple beef and broccoli with fried rice was amazing. Fresh, crispy broccoli. Nice at tender noodles. Consistently good food, with good fresh ingredients.

The Bangkok tofu is the absolute best dish I've ever had ever!! As a vegetarian, sometimes it's hard finding options and this is an option that tastes amazing!! I would recommend this place so much. The Thai tea is also the best and it's a great price

My partner and I just moved from Streamwood to Round Lake and were happy to find Lovely Thai as we've very much enjoyed several Thai restaurants in Cook County. We both tried the Tom Kha soup, which was very flavorful and made with fresh ingredients. My partner had the ranma noodles with chicken and said he liked it very much. I tried the pad thai with tofu. While not the most flavorful take on the dish, Lovely Thai's offering was good. We will return soon.

I wish I could give 4.5 stars! My son and I had a nice dinner. I enjoyed the Pad Thai with shrimp and my son liked the ginger with chicken that was served with rice. We also shared the lovely rolls, which were tasty. Just a few minor things holding me back from giving a 5, but go try for yourself!
