We are a husband and wife team passionate about proposing fresh baked goods created using mainly locally and responsibly grown ingredients. After earning an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts (2003/2005) and Bachelors in Food Service Management (2005/2007) from Johnson and Wales University in Providence RI, Daniel has spent the following years working as a chef in different establishments in the United States and United Kingdom.

In 2013 we decided to move to France so Daniel was able to train in an artisanal bakery "Boulangerie des Chanoinesses" in Remiremont, voted best Baguette of Lorraine in 2015. We finally moved to Massachusetts in 2017. Daniel gained further experience as a baker with Clear Flour Bakery in Brookline and then joined the Birchtree Bread Company team in Worcester.

Simply outstanding. On par with the best French bakeries in Fairfield County CT that I have been to.
Exceptional Almond Croissant. Light flaky buttery crunch almonds and nice not overly sweet almond filling with actual almonds not just paste.
Also a nice Chocolate raspberry croissant and the Sugar topped braided Brioche loaf.
Such a hidden gem in an impossible location.
Please go NOW.

Definitely an odd location, but the pastries and bread I had were delicious (specifically the maple pecan bun and the country loaf). Well worth it!

What a great find! A bakery inside the liquor store. I bought a quiche, pastries and pecan sticky buns. All were wonderfully delicious. The owner is very nice. Although he closes at one on Sunday, he was very accommodating after hours. I will be a faithful customer.

Wow! We thought we were in the wrong place because the lack of signage for the bakery and the fact that it's in a liquor store. Thank goodness we persisted. Some of the most glorious pastries. And the variety of selection is so special. Many offerings you don't see elsewhere in the U.S.
We indulged in: Chocolate croissant, asparagus prosciutto pastry, almond raspberry brioche, and a baguette.
She is a pastry artist!!!
Please put up a more prominent sign so others can appreciate your work.

Wow. Bread, pastry and alcohol. Parts of my favorite food triangle!
Seriously, though, B. Food is a French bakery located within a liquor store, here in my hometown of Milford MA..... And it's fantastic. On our first visit, my wife and I bought plain croissants, almond croissants, cinnamon rolls, plus grilled chicken and pesto croissant sandwiches for supper (we ate only the sandwiches for supper). Everything was over-the-top great. The pastry was to die for and the sandwiches were moist and flavorful.
Look them up and get there early. They run out of things fast.
The only downside is if you

Absolutely delicious. Despite having a weird place to sell their goods, these bakers are French geniuses. Everything they made was out of this world. Worth the trip and the money.

Everything here is SO good. I can't even decide on a favorite because I like too many things. The pizza is so good, the tarts are delicious, the raspberry chocolate, and almond croissants are everything I want in a croissant, the pecan rolls are the perfect amount of stickiness, the quiche is so creamy and decadent. Love it all! I've been almost weekly and the only reason it's not every week is because my waistline can't handle it :)

Try them out, you won't be disappointed!

Helene and Daniel, thanks for making our Easter so special. My family enjoyed each of the three quiche we ordered and had plenty for leftovers! Helene was so accommodating with our special requests and Daniel truly gave us a memorable French experience with his magical food. So grateful to have this gem in our neighborhood!

I am not exactly sure how to state this with enough emphasis. This is the best bakery I've ever been to. They literally couldn't be a better bakery if they tried. They are also just very nice people. They are very authentic french bakers, and it shows.

We have tried almost everything they have to offer at this point:

- Croissants - these are the best croissants either of us have ever had. The times we have had day-old ones (leftovers) are the second best. They also have a ham and cheese croissant, and it is spectacular. Also note, that I don't normally like croissants

Great bakery - a wonderful treat for weekend morning breakfasts, or any time for that matter. The Croissants are so wonderfully flaky! The whole wheat bread boule is delightful and flavorful. It is clear that a great deal of care goes into each of the baked goods. Next week I'm looking forward to trying the cinnamon rolls!

Yum!

I'm torn between posting a glowing review and keeping my mouth closed so this wonderful bakery, hidden away in a liquor store that used to be a Polynesian restaurant, doesn't get overrun. An assortment of delicious pastries and breads, but you'd better get there early before they sell out!

A local gem and something this area has needed for a long time.

The o n l y bad thing I could say about this business is that there's not more! More of everything! More days of the week open. More almond croissants! More bread selection!

It is so refreshing to find a place that has this level of commitment to balancing quality food and fair price, so everyone gets a great experience. I'll do my best to keep supporting them every week, so they not only keep it up, but eventually get the dedicated, authentic french bakery-style space they deserve to have surrounding the amazing food they bake!

Thank you B.

B. Food has some of the best pastries I have ever had! They are small but very talented and on par with bakeries in large cities. These croissants and anything made with the dough make it worth seeking this place out! Breads are also great and the owners are very kind and helpful. You will not be disappointed!

They are rare to come by, these hidden gems, but I found one this weekend...shhhhh

This french bakery is located inside a liquor store , which is kinda cool, though there's no seating, but at least always parking.

We got the almond croissant. It was literally the best croissant I ever had. Flaky, not too buttery, and it literally melts in your mouth, not to sound cliché here. I have been to french bakeries before, but this is the real deal.
The coffee , I got a light roast, was excellent as well.

I can't wait to go back this week and try maybe another croissant and pick up some

A bakery in a liquor store - what?!?! So glad I listened to my friends who recommended this place. Check out their Facebook page to see what they baked that day. The menu changes. There's quite a variety but small batches. Once it's gone, it's gone. Today I snagged the last apricot danish.

Everything is DELICIOUS! Almond croissants are my favorite. I refuse to share. My kids loved the fresh bread. And I'm still dreaming about the focaccia.

It's only open Thurs - Sunday. The owner/baker is so sweet and patient because I ask a lot of questions and pronounce

I never knew this place existed until today! It is located inside Hickeys Liquor store, they have a little area at the front of the store on the right as you come in the door. This is a serious hidden gem! We wanted to get everything but ultimately ended up with the maple pecan buns (amazing and so much flavor), coffee cream and walnut crown (so so good, tons of coffee cream filling), cinnamon roll, 5 cheese pizza slice, and spinach and caramelized onion pizza slice.

I'll be back here whenever I can be, it was so good!! Extremely nice man and woman that make everything.

Alright, alright. Do not sleep on this place. I had to go back ASAP and early to get the goods!

They had opened at 9:00am, I got there around 9:30-ish, and the selection was phenomenal. I almost couldn't choose, and believe me when I say that I wanted to get everything they had.

Ultimately, I went with the canelé, lemon meringue tart, ham and cheese croissant, (smoked?) salmon and tomato quiche, and the potato and spinach quiche.

The canelés are cute. At $2.00 a pop, I think that is fair. I wasn't sure what to expect as this was my first time trying these out and the way that they

We tried almost everything from this wonderful bakery and everything is
scrumptious. Being from Europe we can tell when pastries and breads are made well. The baker and his wife are very friendly and accommodating if you don't know right away which of the wonderful things you want to take home. My waste line is thankful that they are only open 4 days a week😊

Don't be deterred by the location (Hickey's Wine & Spirit), this place is a hidden gem.

Everything is always super delish & fresh from the oven. I highly recommend trying the large slices of quiche (with flavor combos like squash/onion/Gorgonzola and bacon/cheddar wrapped in ultra creamy egg goodness), both sweet and savory croissants (the chocolate one is exquisite), and the meat pies with excellent flaky crusts and AMAZING fillings (the recent butternut/shallot/cheddar pie BLEW our minds), though you really can't go wrong with anything coming out of their kitchen.
