Melissa Roiter grew up surrounded by good food. Her mother, now a yummy gran-mummy, was a caterer, her aunt, a chocolatier and her grandmother, an amazing at-home baker. It was Grandma Irene who passed on to Melissa her famous, unique and always a crowd-pleasing, chocolate brownie recipe. After years of baking the brownies herself, Melissa knew that the delicious treats were destined to be shared.
But a business name? A concept? She needed a spark. That spark was ignited Mother's Day 2007; the brownie business started and today Melissa is ready to share the most delicious brownies with you, your friends, and family. So go ahead and indulge - it's worth it!.

Walked in and asked if they could bake a cake for my Dad's 70th birthday. Everyone was so nice and accommodating and the cake was fantastic! After an easy and quick consult we landed on a sheet cake of chocolate with a peanut butter filling and whipped cream frosting and a lighthouse theme. Everyone at the party thought it was delicious, especially my dad!
Proceeds from each item will go directly to help the patients and families at Boston Children's Hospital. As a 100% volunteer organization, every dollar raised will make an impact. League-funded programs include: the Laughter League Clown Care Unit, Music Therapy, Artists-in-Residence Program, Summer Camp Program, the Center for Young Women's Health, and more!

I was really impressed by the way the cake I ordered presented. It was exactly how I described it on the phone a few days before. They were able to create a rainbow cake, and the cost was reasonable (internet cakes are well over $70 per cake).
The reason I cannot score this a 4 or 5 was the texture and flavor of the colored layers. Sure, the colors were bright, and the icing was vegan-friendly throughout. But, it was too sweet. The cake was somewhat dry, but had a good feeling in my mouth. My daughter said, "yours is better", referring to my Dunkin Hines Dark Chocolate Fudge cake

Yummy mummy is just awesome for custom cakes and cake pops. Everything always tastes delicious and they do a great job with the designs. They are very accommodating and helpful with the ordering and design process. It is expensive so just be prepared for that! If you give them a budget I'm sure they will work within your needs, just perhaps state that up front so you don't get carried away lol. Highly recommend

Absolutely Positively LOVE Yummy Mummy. They are so Friendly and Professional. My Daughter & I can't drive by the Bakery without stopping. Extra trips for Christmas. I picked up the most Amazing Cake it was Beautiful and I got a piece it was so Delicious. I got there Award Winning Brownies for Christmas Gifts. My Friends LOVED them. Yummy Yummy! I want one NOW!

I stopped here on a whim after realizing it was literally across the roadway from Rocco's Doughnuts, where i had already picked up our order. i've been on a local bakery kick, and decided it was clearly kismet that i also visit Yummy Mummy the same day.
the shop atmosphere is cheerful and super cute. their COVID procedures are excellent. you can order online in advance and have it brought out to you, or order inside. there's enough room to social distance, and employees are all wearing masks and behind guards.

Best Mother's Day gift! Asked for yummy treats for my gift. I've wanted an excuse to get one of Yummy Mummy's trays for a while. Ordering and pick-up was easy. Presentation was adorable & plenty to share. The treats were delicious! My favorite so far is the salted caramel brownie. Kids liked the cookies & cake pop. My mom loved the brownie with her tea. Everything was decadent - buttery, rich, & sweet deliciousness. Lots of smiles all around.

I don't throw the word "best" around lightly, but I have to say that the plain chocolate brownie that I had from Yummy Mummy Bakery was one of the best that I have ever had. It was moist, extremely chocolatey, and the perfect size. My fiancé and I also tried a 7 layer bar, which was delicious as well but I would have preferred it with fewer walnuts. If/when I need baked goods in the future, I will make the drive to Yummy Mummy.

I put 2 photos of my daughter's 4th and 5th birthday cakes. We were totally blown away from the 4th birthday (unicorn and vegan) but they continue to impress us as they went above and beyond for the 5th birthday (Harry Potter and regular cake). The thing is, not only do the cakes look beautiful, they taste phenomenal. Not too sweet, the cake has the right density and body and the frosting was light, creamy and again, not too sweet... I just can't stop eating it. Oh, their brownies are quite divine as well...

Omg,Omg,Omg.... I walk in to the break room this morning to get a cup of coffee and what do I see? A little brown box calling to me, I opened it up and saw the brownie, oh how delicious they looked to me.I cut a piece and after the first bite , I wanted to eat the whole box but would have regretted it tonight.

Can't comment on the store location but I ran into their cute stand at the SoWa Open Market. While tempted by many cookies, dessert bars, and types of brownies, I settled on a classic brownie. Their plain classic brownie is very fudgy. While I tend to be a fan of cakey brownies, I didn't find the brownies too dense. Maybe next time I'll try the Nutella brownie.

Their brownies are the best. The center is so rich and soft that it tastes like eating brownie batter. They just melt right in your mouth! The edges are cooked to be firm but not overdone. It's just perfection. They sell them in all kinds of yummy flavors too, so you have quite the selection to choose from.
