Don't live here unless you want to constantly listen to the faulty building fire alarm go off for upwards of 15 mins at a time, up to 4 times per day.
They do nothing to remedy this, while causing our animals EXTREME DISTRESS.
They don't care about the community, or the people. They care about getting your money.
I'd give them zero star if I could.

Desiree at Artesia was a joy to work with! She answered all of our questions and was super quick to get back to us, whether via phone or email and always did so with a smile. Desiree made our transition to Artesia a smooth one. I came to her with a concern about a tenants dog and she was empathetic and handled it immediately as there no longer seems to be an issue. We had a small maintenance request and they contacted us immediately and continued to do so until they got ahold of us to set up a time for the fix. The location is good, the unit is nice with good living space. Some appliances need update, we have a washer that makes so much noise like a helicopter and a dryer that takes 3x cycle before the clothes is dry even if I split the load in half. There is a leak/running water in the tub's faucet which didn't get fix until 2 weeks after we notified the office. My absolute complain is not having an assign parking, at least one for each unit considering the amount of rate/money they charge for rent monthly. There are more assigned car port to make more money than assigning one stall to each unit first

Absolutely hands down the best interaction I have ever had from any property management company EVER! I stopped in looking to just get questions about renting a unit possibly and I was blown away by how special and personal every staff member made me feel! Not only was I blown away by the curb appeal of this property but the whole vibe was on point! The amenities are absolutely awesome and the apartments themselves are super nice! Everyone in the office had a great attitude and I felt invited the second I walked in. Looking forward to moving in here with my fur babies. Awesome complex.

I have called and left messages multiple times on inquires as a resident. No one has ever contacted me. If you need to get any response from the leasing office, you need to come in person. It’s very inconvenient if your work schedule doesn’t revolve around theirs.
Update: Still no reply. Partner had to approach the leasing office for inquires on the amenities (which I was trying to call about). He was told the hot tub closes at 10 pm. Went the following day (8pm) only for the access door to be locked. No resident emails giving notifications on changed times.

We liked the central location this complex offered us. Overall I have to say that I was happy to live in this complex. However, beware of renting on the first floor. I have lived in other complexes before and I’ve never experienced hearing every single footstep from upstairs. It is no exaggeration that my upstairs neighbor doing their laundry at midnight would wake me up although I am a heavy sleeper. Also good luck parking after 5!

My partner and I happily renewed our lease for another year. The team in the Artesia office is so helpful. We moved from out of state last year, and they made the process as easy as possible even though we weren't in town for most of it. Throughout the year, Artesia has been totally on it with maintenance (grounds look good, they checked and cleaned our fireplace, they checked our alarms), but we've actually lived here almost an entire year without needing to call maintenance because nothing has needed fixing. The appliances are in great condition, and it's a good space. It's also really quiet

I lived in Artesia by the Lake Apartments for 2 years; in total I paid around 45k in rent and expenses during this time.
The security in this apartment complex was absolutely horrible; my motorcycle was almost stolen on 2 separate occasions. The thief damaged my ignition trying to steal my motorcycle, rendering it very difficult to start. In addition, my son's bicycle was stolen twice. There are homeless and unsavory people walking outside the apartments at night; on multiple occasions I would have to go outside to "The Cove" to ask people who were camping out there to leave. I
