My alternator was starting to whine and the battery light came on. OK, no brainer that the diagnosis would be replacement but they did a precheck and told me a price to expect. Expensive but needed job with a top notch replacement alternator and new belt. The quality of the detail was wonderful. We had service done elsewhere and the clips that hold all of the plastic covering in the engine compartment were rattling around. I expected to go down to auto parts store to get more to replace them but opened the hood to find new clips and the plastic. My rattle was snug and tight! Thanks for looking

I had mechanical issues while traveling on I 5. I was able to limp my vehicle into Wrench Masters where they promptly diagnosed a bad alternator. They ordered the part and had me back on my travels the next morning. Fair price, very friendly and professional. Highly recommend whether you are local or just passing through

I my car wouldn't start and I took it in because it's one of the closest shops to me. I had AAA tow it to them, they had it looked at and fixed within two days at a total price that was under the estimate quote they given me over the phone. Really appreciate that help and I would recommend this business.

Just had some work done on my car. With the money I saved on my budget by not going to a dealer, I got some extra work done, all in one day, all at a good price. No fuss, no muss, very pleased with the service.
Getting the spark plugs changed on a 2012 Versa is expensive at a dealer. The intake manifold has to be removed. I expected my car to be in the shop for two days, not done in one.

I called in about a door issue and although they thought it was something they could fix they recommended I get it checked out by a business down the street who was more equipped for this type of issue. After I visited that shop they noticed I had a coolant dripping so I went back to Master Wrench to have them take a look. They checked it out right then and were professional and a pleasure to work with. I will be coming back for any future work and would recommend this shop to anyone.

I took my car in here after a horrible situation with a Honda dealer. They were incredibly nice to me even rotating the tires on the house as I had supposedly paid for that with my dealer service.
I told them how much I appreciated that and that I would be back.
I went back this week. I called to make an appointment for an oil change. The guy answering the phone said well we really don't make appointments but bring it in around 8 AM and we'll work around it. I said OK sounds good.
Fast forward to Friday. I arrange to get someone to pick me up and I arrive a few minutes before 8 AM

I've taken my car here before but never again. This morning my wife and infant daughter had to turn around in traffic and accidentally turned through their driveway. A Very angry man came out and pounded on her hood and would not let her turn around going so far as to put a cone in front of her car while screaming at her. My wife apologized profusely and said she didn't know the area and didn't realize she was turning through their parking lot. He continued screaming at her and refused to let her leave. She was very afraid for herself and our baby. The guy definitely has an anger

I came in this morning looking for a quote to change out my engine coils and have my fuel injection system flushed. The rude, unkempt man sitting behind the desk seemed annoyed that his internet browsing had been interrupted. The first thing out of his mouth was, "we'll have to charge you to run a diagnosis." I told him I'd already had it diagnosed and just need a quote. "No one is going to give you a quote without charging for a diagnosis," he gruffly replied. Since I'd already gotten 2 this morning, I simply said, "that's not true" and walked

I like the staff, now Brian since Chuck has retired. They have integrity with the continuing philosophy of honesty. If there is something they do not specialize in, they will tell you. They continue to work on my 2001 CRV for scheduled maintenance where I do not trust others like Valvoline, they beat Valvoline's prices, and I am confident that they use the make-specific fluids rather than something generic recommended by Valvoline at the same price. With the rare repair issues that are needed, they have done a good job! Their hourly rate was $95/hr last I checked. They don't go

I've been bringing my car here for almost a year now. I take it in for everything from maintenance to repairs, and have always had a positive experience. These guys are honest, knowledgeable, and won't charge you an arm & a leg like some mechanics. Even if you have to drive across town to get here, it's well worth the drive.

A few years ago, I used Master Wrench for some of my car repairs. Since they were located so close to my home, it was a convenient place to take them.
After a couple of repairs that seemed a bit out of line on cost, and even results, I parted ways with them and found another option. Recently, after stopping there for what I believed was a quick fix for a squeaky wheel sound, Cory took but a short time to solve the problem and I am not sure there was even a charge!
After that experience, I thought I might give them another opportunity regarding the old "check engine light" on my 2001

Disclaimer: This is worth reading if you at all care about the character of the folks working on your vehicle
While on my way to Newberg Saturday night, I got a flat tire. I pulled over, parked in a seemingly empty lot and called my mom to teach me how to change a tire. While sprawled out on the ground next to my car, a man pulled up and asked if I needed help. I DEFINITELY needed help. It turns out the shop two stores down, Master Wrench, belonged to him. He very kindly took care of my flat tire without making me feel silly for having no clue as to what I was doing. I thanked him and he responded

I've taken my truck here 3 times. They didn't fix the problem of the truck overheating any of those 3 times. In fact, after getting my truck worked on a third time, I drove to DEQ to get the truck serviced. I didn't even get halfway before my truck died again, on 99w in hectic traffic. It seemed as though they were trying to nickel and dime me out of my money. I need my vehicle to work and I'll pay a fair price to have it done right. If you feel the way I do, don't even consider taking your vehicle to these sheisters.

We thought we had a belt problem and called Master Wrench to see if someone could check on it. They were able to see us within 15 minutes and told us that they thought we had a less serious air flow issue. They suggested we get it done for free under warranty at the dealership and even offered to review any quotes the dealership gave us if it ended up not being covered by the warranty. On top of this - they did all this for free! We'll definitely be coming back!

I would never ever take my car there again. I took my car for an inspection in the morning and by the afternoon it was still not done. I was told that they were very busy and that they could not finish it. My husband called at 1 pm and they had just started inspecting it.
It is very hard to leave a car for the whole day (arranging car rides, dropping off kids, and what not) but for them not to do the job or even call us ahead of time to give us an update is unacceptable.
I do not recommend this place. We will be going to MetroCare (around the corner from Master Wrench, on Capitol Hwy) who do

I worked for Kurt Raz at another locations years ago in my younger years so I got to know the Raz family a little. Great people and they have a very good back ground in automotive industry.
The Raz family are the only mechanics that have my 100% trust. They know that you won't be in business long if you make it a habit of over charging and doing unnecessary repairs.
