TLDR: Avoid living in a property that is managed by this company. Save yourself the health risks it will inevitably give you.
I've lived at one of McGills properties for a little over three years now. From the very beginning they have had poor communication, suspicious management tactics, and overall poor professionalism across the board.
When we moved in they said we needed to pay a move-in fee of $250 for access to the elevator and dolly, and once it was returned it would be refunded. At no point did they say when the access to the elevator would be available to us. We were lucky that we caught

Their collection manager Josette Jarvis especially, we always received prompt reply and great services from her :) She is always on top of everything and get you answers. If your planning on moving into one of these neighborhoods don’t. The hoa fee is a scam considering every year you have to move your own snow every time. When the snow is removed it’s late and all the snow is frozen on the ground. All the other neighborhoods and areas are cleared up on time except the briar point one.

Thanks for all of your help Renee! I have never made any architectural adjustments to any house that I have owned that required involvement of the HOA. Renee walked me through the process without making it seem like a burden to her.

I just wanted to make mention on how impressed I am with McGill Management and especially Haley Floto who has been very pleasant to work with on issues that have come up as part of Briar Pointe. I had a driveway that the prior owner left deep tire marks to the point they filled up with water and were a tripping hazard. All I had to do is contact Haley and she responded immediately and added me to the list to get my driveway redone. I've owned a lot of condos /townhomes and never had such a responsive and caring HOA and especially an association manager that is on top of everything and very responsive

Thought I should edit this to include some sort of justification as to why I am giving this management company a 1 star review.
First and foremost, this management company doesn’t know how to manage anything.
Second, the whole point of the HOA is to make life more simple for the residents, this HOAs only goal in life is to make money. They take your HOA fees and then do not provide the services they have promised. For example, we are soon going to be forced to swim without a lifeguard on site, yet our HOA dues are kept the same.
Third, this HOA does not know how to MANAGE, which sort of comes

June 2021-ROB ROY on Concord property. Water damage began in February still unrepaired. Not the only time McGill has been lethargic, delinquent and inadequate. This time it's Britta Harkins we are working with. The concern our 92 y/o veteran father in the townhome with a leaky roof. Britta is not providing answers to questions, setting deadlines, arranging job completion largely ignoring the responsibility of a good management company. Very similar to what took place a few years ago. Also a leaky roof. I'll come back here 'IF" they actually execute the duties and responsibility to get this done
