Sheridan Apartments

Myself and wife moved into our own 2-bedroom apartment together in September, 2021 at the sheridan village. The apartment office ( Kay, Lynda, Kristin) and the maintainence team were fantastic in getting through the lease and preparing the apartment in time for our moving from Massachusetts. Not only was the apartment freshly carpeted and walls painted, but even basic toiletries ( like shower curtain, soap, paper towels, tissue, etc.) were provided. The property management team is friendly and the grounds are clean and maintained, however, I had many unresolved issues.
My building was advertised as non-smoking but two new neighbors moved in and both of them smoke inside the building.
As soon as I started complaining about the smoke the property management team would “look into it”. They would always come to the conclusion that they couldn’t smell anything. The laundry facility is okay, but there were multiple occasions where my clothes would come out of the wash dirtier than when they went in. Had to throw clothes away due to funky

This is my incoming three years living at the Sheridan Apartments in Schenectady. I recently renewed my 1-year apartment lease because I truly enjoy living here-it's safe, well-maintained and affordable!

After living in Sheridan for a year and a half, my family and I will be sad to leave, but are excited to relocate to another Tri City Rentals property due to the wonderful experiences we had. Kay, Lynda, and the maintenance team at Sheridan have been nothing but wonderful throughout our time here. Whenever there was a rare issue, staff would respond promptly. The grounds are beautifully maintained and snow removal was always quick. Sometimes the age of the buildings can show, but that is to be expected. All in all, our experience was wonderful and we will look back on Sheridan with fond memories

In the hamlet of Schenectady, Sheridan Village offers a modest and practical way of living. With its quaint 1952 masonry dwellings nested in a park-like setting, amidst pet friendly, quiet communities and the accessibility to local stores, coffee shops, hospitals and entertainment such as the Rivers Casino & Resort. What more can you ask for at this price point! The office team, Kay and Lynda are exceptional, welcoming, accommodating and will always ensure your needs are met. I stayed at the sheridan for three years. I didn't have a great first impression when I first passed by the place (it was the bricks), but that was far from the truth when actually getting a tour. The apartment interiors are updated and pretty nice/spacious. Heat, water, and trash removal are included. Good amount of street and off-street parking.
The place is pretty well maintained, the only thing that takes time to fix/replace is when a washer in the laundry room is down.
Great option for affordability.

Budget apartments with ample amenities and loads of space within community. Free parking, water and heater are included, which are plus points. Tennis court or some other recreational activity area and few upgraded amenities would have been better to have, but still these are good apartments to live.

Very nice apartment complex, it seems to be in a very good, safe area.
I would recommend Sheridan Apartments to anyone looking to move to Schenectady.
There is a nice walking path along the perimeter.
There always seems to be parking, though you’ll have to pay an additional fee for a garage space.
The apartment unit is a decent size, with a fully functional kitchen.
The maintenance is prompt, and responds fast to issues.
there is large and sufficient closet space too.
There are laundry facilities in the complex, but not inside the apartments.
Heat is included in the rent, but cannot be
