Dr. Veld is a graduate of Hope College in Holland, Michigan. He went on to the Illinois College of Optometry earning his Doctor of Optometry in May of 1989. In 2013 he was certified by the American Board of Optometry. Dr. Veld opened his practice in March of 1990. He is an affiliate of TLC Laser Centers and Kraff Eye Institute.

I would not recommend Veld Vision to anyone as the incompetent personnel in the office do not know how to fully explain ANYTHING- as a result I was politely asked to stay away from there shop—— and frankly I wish I had never asked those people a simple question! I even offered to pay for the glasses out of my pocket but just like every other business not a damn soul listens to anyone! Big Surprise! Well I am sure they will continue to uphold the high standards of do nothing ness! Good luck Natalie !

I have been going to Veld Vision for about 10 years now. We have since moved out of the Crete area, but I still travel about thirty minutes there for my eye care. Veld has great customer service, reasonable prices and the staff is very friendly. I haven't found another Optometry location that compares.

Zero stars. By far the worst customer service ever. They wait until less than 12 hours before your appointment to let you know there is a problem with the insurance. I have had the wrong contacts ordered on numerous occasions (each time they tried to pin the blame on me). The front office staff are rude and uninviting. I asked for a few sample contacts for all the grief and inconvenience and was told that was not their policy. They did nothing to make amends. I'm crossing the border and heading to Illiana Eye Care to see the best doctor ever.

My niece had new eye glass frames that i had to have. She referred me to Veld Vision. I passed many eye class stores to reach Veld. I was a walk in. One lady helped me with my vision insurance. I had a picture of the frames. A frame was ordered. After a few days, I hadn ' t heard back so i called to inquire about the frames. I was told they were in so i went in. These were not the frames. I broused & choose a pair of silhouettes instead. The lady who measured & processed my prescription was cool, very unfriendly & right to the point. I didn' t hear back after a few days so
