In May of 2000, Doctors Petecki, Pakla, and Bubanko all graduated together from the Illinois College of Optometry. All three were close friends throughout schoool. Doctors Pakla and Bubanko were married in 2001.
Each Doctor had different experiences during their first four years out of school, and in 2005 they decided to come together and create a new practice that would take all the best qualities from their previous workplaces and form New Lenox Family Eyecare.We believed that by delivering detailed eye examinations and quality eyewear in a low-pressure environment, we would grow naturally over time by word of mouth.

New Lenox Family Eyecare takes pride in our providing comprehensive vision and eye health evaluations. We use state-of-the-art instruments, as well as, well trained Doctors and staff to thoroughly assess your eyes for both visual correction needs and potential eye diseases. We provide examinations for patients of all ages from infants to adults.

I've been coming here for several years now, and I love this place. Love the great staff, and love Dr. Bubanko! Great private eyecare practice. I like it so much more than one of the impersonal doc in the box places (like Pearlvision, etc.). Always nice and always speedy (except they let you take your time to pick out frames and are very patient as well). Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

All of my experiences at New Lenox Family Eyecare have been excellent. All of their doctors and staff are great, very friendly, professional, helpful and their office has a great selection of glasses and has the most up to date equipment and very thorough testing. I highly recommend them for any and all eye care needs.
