Wild Eye Winery
Wine is a product that takes over 12-18 months to produce! Grapes grown in full sunlight, hand tended for 10 months, picked gently so they retain quality, delivered and crushed within hours of being picked. Months of work in the vineyard to grow the highest quality fruit. We get only one crop of fruit per year from a vineyard.

One chance to get it right! We use naturally derived ingredients in our winemaking, no artifical colors or flavors. Fermented to dry, less than 2 grams glucose/fructose per bottle of wine (4 x 187mL servings)*, compare that to 4 grams of suger in a single serving of seltzer beverage! Aged in either American or French oak barrels, we also age wines in stainless steel tanks.

Consistently fascinating wines. Available from the winemaker and other locations, he can inform you. Pouring at many wine events, right now at Gilroy Garlic Festival 2017, often in Morgan Hill, and many other events. The reds are my favorites, with forest and mushroom scents, berries, long finishes. Don't miss.

I originally bought 4 cases of the 2009 Cabernet, drank the first bottle and realized this wine is a "keeper"! As difficult as it's been, I left it in my cellar to age and tapped into the first case when some friends came over last month. It is EXQUISITE!

Alas, many wanted to take it home. . . and the case dissappeared. . .
Thankfully I have THREE MORE!!!

Wonderful quality, rich in color and although dry, deep in fruit. . . now I just need to save it for only 'special occassions' (or find out if there's any left at Wild Eye)!!
