This apartments were exactly how they showed them on the advertisement unlike other places that it is so no not what you expect.
The manager was very polite and professional from day 1. The location is very calm and clean.
My favorite part are the birds you can hear every morning.
The units are spacious, and the master bedroom has a walkin closet.
They have 2 pools, small gym and i believe 3 laundry rooms available .
They are very strict on keeping the carports clean which help maintain the image of the apartment so very good.

We have been living here for almost two years and we love it. The manager, Jose, is such a down to earth guy and that makes it easy to approach him if we ever have any questions or concerns. He's always been quick to send the maintenance crew to get something fixed if needed. I've never had to wait more than three days to get something taken care of.

I had a 1 bedroom 1 bath and it was really spacious. There was a jack n jill sink outside of the tub and the toilet room, it was very convenient and nice to have that. The kitchen was great it was a little small when having guest over but overall it did the trick. The actual complex was quiet and it was nice. The only negative thing is the laundry some of the washers didn't work and some of the dyers didn't work. Other then that I really enjoyed living there.

My family and me we had the honor to rent here, we had a good experience, Jose the manager is a really nice and a good person, if we had any problem with the equipment and report it right away Jose was always responding on time and sent a maintenance right away, I will always recommend this place to any family and friend and if I ever need to rent I will go back to DOWNEY COURT. and rent apart 16 again.

Me and my boyfriend had been living here for 2 months since we first came we loved it. The neighbors are nice, is quiet, clean, I've seen people maintaining the plants, etc. The apartment is big and really confortable. Love that is pet friendly. And how we have everything close by. In Stewart and gray road I consider the entrance of Downey apartments the best one.

The manager Jose is terrific! Our family finds him to be professional, courteous and responsive. Whenever I've had questions about anything he's answered my voicemails or emails promptly. We leased an apartment last fall and have lived here for seven months. The place has been quiet and family friendly. It is a gated community and the premises are well maintained.

Been living in the Apts for over 5 years and I can honestly say when we first moved here it wasn't so bad. As years gone by a property management has taken ownership and the apartments have gone down hill. In my personal opinion the apartment is robbery. They go up on rent every year, now we have to pay for water on top of the 50 dollar increase rent. It is now a gated community but the gates barely work, the garage key to buzz in never works no matter how much I change the battery. Management said we were getting new furniture for the pool it's going on two years and still nothing. The

My family has lived here for almost a year and it's been good. I live in a corner unit so it's very quiet and private. I can't complain about the parking because my unit comes with enough parking spots but when I have people over it's almost impossible to find a parking on the street. I like that there's two pools so if one is too full there's another one. My unit has carpet through out but would really like if it was hard wood floors like alot of the other units here. Overall it's a decent place to live.

We live here for almost 6 months... We like the apartment complex, the bedroom is big enough to have a crib if you have a baby ... The lighting in the living room is really nice and the wood floor too... the manager is always on place, He has been really nice... And we don't have any complaints about the neighborhood. It's really close to downtown Downey... The city of Downey is a really good community to live.

We have been living here for 3 weeks now and so far it's been good. The community is really cute. We love the wood floors in the living room. Makes it look modern. I love the double vanity and double closet. There are a few details that should have been looked at and fixed before renting the apartment but nothing a frame can't hide. The manager has been really nice and cool.

-My unit came with hardwood floors, AC, and best of all I had a corner unit.
-The complex is pretty big, but there are three buildings which make the property feel a bit more intimate.
-My neighbors were friendly. Occasionally there were some fights and screams with couples living in other units, but nothing that resulted in police intervention.

We like the double closets, the vanity hall (two sinks is awesome), the wood floors, we luckily have our parking in front of our door but not all units do. The neighbors are respectful. Haven't had a theft or break in problem. It's pet friendly. Despite the busy street it's pretty quiet. Two pools. 5 minute bike ride to downtown Downey (food restaurants, movies, library, post office, markets, entertainment, park, coffee shops, etc.) Reasonable rent rate.
Minimal maintenance problems with plumbing, but very quick response when we've had some. Enjoy the on site gym just wished

We lived here for a year. The only problems we had were one neighbor who liked to party and even fight outside their apartment a couple of times, and some roaches (though the manager sent someone for that). And Stewart and Gray is a major street so it can be loud.
But other than that, we've had good experiences. The rest of our neighbors were nice and respectful. The place was clean, and our apartment was freshly painted with new carpets, very clean and sunny. The manager was always nice to us, and whenever we had an issue he'd send someone to fix it in a timely manner. Our air conditioner

This place in appearence looks nice but they fail to tell u people smoke weed outside thete apt. kids runaround the court yard and are noisy, it gets infested,neighbors fight outside with there spouces at 1am in the morning, neighbors are rude and drive there cars in with very loud music, the airconditioning a joke barely works, this summer with the airconditioning I had to still take 4 cold showers to stay cool, the plumbing gets clogged because instead of REALLY cleaning apt after pple move out they paint! & paint falls off and glogs drains & then they want u to pay! Did I mention someone
