I found everyone to be very personable and helpful in getting my Toyota pickup ready for some difficult towing in its near future. They spent time talking about the India and outs of towing and what I should be considerate of. I absolutely appreciate the attention and quick work they provided. I have been in twice and just love them.

Once again Broadway displayed their honesty and integrity. We brought our daughter’s car in for brake replacement after a Volkswagen dealer said they needed to do it for $750 (sounded fishy to me). The great folks at Broadway immediately saw that the brakes were fine which saved my daughter a lot of money. Such honesty brings peace of mind.

These guys are great. I called them with an emergency auto breakdown two days before the Thanksgiving holiday. Every other auto shop I called told me they were going to be at least two weeks out. As I do deliveries with my car I needed it back in action as soon as possible. Broadway import was very upfront saying they would do their best to get me in and out in just a day or so but it may take longer. Much to my surprise they called me the same day to tell me that figured out what the problem was and had parts on order for it and should be able to get it back to me the very next day. As promised

At the vehicle’s dealer I was given a list of recommended services totaling almost $2000, after paying almost $700 for plugs and valve timing at 100,000 mile service.
The recommended seemed like too much, even for a 100,000 mile car so I found Broadway Import Auto on Google and took the car in to be inspected. For a $65 inspection fee I was told that none of the recommendations needed to be done, and he could not find any evidence of two of the problems cited. Best $65 ever!

I wasn't sure what was causing the problems with my car but when I called Broadway Import Auto Service was able to schedule me within a few days. I dropped it off in the morning and received a call within 90 minutes outlining the work they proposed. I okayed the plan and my car was ready to pick up that afternoon. I can't attest to value because I didn't check around but the service was excellent, prompt and professional. I have several friends who have used them for years so that gives me confidence related to value. I will use them again.

I've been taking our vehicles to Broadway Import Auto Service for more than five years now for all of our maintenance. The team is friendly and I trust their recommendations. They've always been straightforward about what my vehicles need and haven't tried to oversell me on strange, unnecessary services. I took a car that I bought used in for a once over since I had vague maintenance records. I felt like they told me exactly what I needed. They could have taken advantage of my lack of history on the car and loaded me up with unnecessary services. The price was 1/3 of what I had been quoted at the dealership.

Over the years I have lived in half a dozen different cities in the USA. A number of years ago I moved to Portland and consider myself fortunate to have found this shop.
Broadway Imports have never attempted to sell additional or unnecessary repairs. I have trusted them with all of the various older model cars I have owned over the past 10 years here in Portland.

Derek has taken great care of my cars for the past 15 years..first a Volvo, now an Acura. He's super easy to schedule with and normally is right in the shop to communicate with his customers directly. I trust him completely when he tells me something I wasn't expecting needs to be done and I feel his pricing is very fair/reasonable. I don't need a "friend in the diamond business" but I do need a freind in the car repair business, so I heartily recommend him to the ladies and anyone else who wants a no BS mechanic they can trust. I can't say enough good things about my recent car repair at Broadway Imports. I initially took my 2006 Acura TSX in because it was really acting up. Dan ran a computer test on the car and he said it was the throttle. He took my car for a test drive and, of course, it wouldn't duplicate the issue. So, he did not charge me for the service. About a month later, the car started acting up again. Not only did they give me a fair price for the throttle actuator replacement, they gave me a discount for cash. Plus, Derek, the owner gave me a ride to work! What's not to like! Thanks

They stated it would be $384 and I said 'fine' as I needed it done for DEQ, and the check engine light was on. They called me and left a message and said it was done and the cost was, actually, $306. I was thinking, 'great, prompt and saves me some money'.
On the phone and in person they stated that it needed brake work and oil leak work. I had told them that I would get back to them on that. They then said the charge was $352 or $354

Other than oil changes, I haven't had my car serviced since I purchased it 2 years ago. The dealership said the 45,000 mile on my Acura RDX was $475 so I decided to shop around. I really wanted a mechanic that specialized in Acuras/Hondas. I called several shops and overall was not terribly impressed. Derek at Broadway Imports was professional and answered all of my questions without saying daaaaaa even once. I felt really good about taking my car there. My service was $125 (not the dealer price if $475!!!!) Plus, I walked to Nicholas for lunch and lots of other walking options too. My car

Several years ago when the Lexus dealership said I would need thousands of dollars of repair work on my car I went back to these guys (who maintained an Infinity before the Lexus) for a second opinion. They didn't find the problem. Good-bye dealership. They are honest and have never up-sold me on anything. I would recommend than to anyone.

After receiving a few mailers for different services at Broadway Imports I decided to give them a try. Excellent service, and quality work! Nowadays everyone gets 5 stars just for doing what they are supposed to do - Broadway Imports was exceptional and is a REAL 5 star outfit. Worked with me on appointments, had technical knowledge that even surpassed the dealer and got my vehicle purring like new for a very fair price.
I will be recommending them to anyone and will use them for all my auto needs in the future. I wish they sold tires!

When you are not a mechanic ...its hard to know what services are REALLY necessary, never mind the realistic costs for those services. Broadway Imports FAR exceeds my expectations of an honest auto service/repair provider. They were willing to talk with me on the phone and gave me the chance to check out possible causes of the issues with my Audi A6 before I brought it in. When I brought it in for service, they were quick to fix it, knowledgable about what to fix and . . . inexpensive. I have been going here for a few years, they are chatty and friendly, BUT I had a very similar experience to another reviewer; I brought my vehicle in for repair and when I came to pick it up they asked if I'd noticed that the power steering pump was leaking (I hadn't). They said that there was a serious leak and it needed replacing. I declined to have it fixed, figuring I'd top it off when necessary and wait until it got worse or I had more cash. It's been many months (almost a year?) and the power steering fluid is still at the "Max" line.

This place is the BEST. Super reasonable and they really know their stuff. I have been taking my car here for a few years since I found them and won't trust anyone else with repairs and maintenance (after learning a hard "why not to get an oil change at Oil Can Henry's" lesson). Great customer service too, even for a pretty clueless car owner such as myself. Can't recommend this place enough!!

I took my car in because it was behaving really sketchy and then wouldn't start at all. They told me it needed a new distributor and also a new clutch (both of which seem likely) but that they changed out the spark plugs and cleaned it up and tweaked a few things so it was running well and starting again, at least. But they couldn't guarantee how long it would be before I needed to address the distributor and the clutch. That was fine. I drove the car home. Hours later, I go to start the car and it's exactly the same as it was before. So. They charged me $97.20 for basically nothing

These guys were legit and didn't want to take advantage of me and told me exactly what was wrong with my car and what to do.
However, when walking up to the place to pick up my car one of the old mechanics in the garage was super rude making me not want to return.
The guy in the office, Derrick, was awesome though. He was friendly and easy to talk to. I appreciated his service.

Went to Broadway Imports this week for the first - and last - time. We tried them as a potential alternative to the Honda dealer to bring our cars for service. Unfortunately, they failed, with red flags.
The biggest red flag is that they recommended work which we just had done on the car a few months ago. We were told that the "transmission fluid needs to be replaced". It's funny, we just had it changed 6 months and 6000 miles ago. They also quoted $250 to change the transmission fluid - also funny, given that the Honda dealer changed it and charged only $58.
