I am telling everyone Do Not rent from Carriage House in Elkhart,IN. I have problems with my downstairs neighbor since I moved in on May 2nd. She plays her TV as loud as it will go. I have called the office about this over 7 times, all they say is we will call and talk to her, we will have her daughter talk to her, there is nothing we can do. So I moved my TV into my bedroom so I can hear it and watch it, well she decided to move her TV into her room the other night, so herewe go again. Also when I moved in May 2nd I called and reported there is a hole in the bedroom window screen, still waiting

My mother lives and has been putting up with a ridiculously loud down stairs neighbor. keeps her up all hours of the night...till 4 in the morning Blaring her tv and wakes her up super early in the mornings slamming doors and cabinets and blaring the tv...how are people supposed to live that way....the office has been contacted many times and nothing is being done. They won't even go talk to her because the excuse is she doesn't speak English....guess the cops should be called out then....

My sister and her family lives here, and in the past, they have seen nothing, but rats, cockroaches, spiders, and CRICKETS. The people living there, have been yelling, making so much noise, ABUSING their pets, etc. I have stayed with my sister, and after that, I never came back to their apartment.

As of today my boyfriend was supposed to be moving in they called him on Monday saying his apartment was not ready due to the carpet needing changed so they offered him a different apartment that was $100 more a month he decided to take since he already took the time off work to move in today he has the electric already in his name everything was fine as of yesterday morning they told him the amount he needed in money orders and they would see him today at 10am he got there this morning no one was there he talked to someone in maintenance who said no one was in the office the guy made a phone call

Infested with mice,roaches,etc. Pest control sprays and they still keep multiplying. Loud music and drinking outside all hours of the night. Not a great place to live with children.
The maintance does nothing...mailboxes get broken into constantly.

Office staff treats you with disrespect. Many problems with the apartments and nothing gets done about it. Dont feel safe letting the kids play outside with all the shootings going on.

I live there now and there office and maintenance staff slacks you you're responsible
