If you have been referred for a diagnostic audiologic evaluation or feel you aren't hearing like you should, then we can further examine your hearing healthcare needs. The evaluation is done to determine if a hearing loss is present and, if so, to detail the type and severity of the hearing loss. It also may.
I am Board Certified in Audiology, fluent in ASL (American Sign Language), and I specialize in the treatment of tinnitus and hearing loss. I, myself have suffered from debilitating tinnitus and empathize with the difficulties many of my patients face.

There are several steps that are part of a hearing aid evaluation. If you suspect that you might need a hearing aid, you will first need to have a hearing evaluation. At the time of the hearing evaluation, a case history will be taken to determine how much your hearing problem impacts your day-to-day life as well as the lives of your family.

I was really impressed by Dr. Kelly. She's created a comfortable warm friendly environment in her offices. She's very engaging and friendly and she really knows what she's doing.
I came in for an adjustment to my hearing aids and she knew exactly what to do to improve my hearing.

I was very impressed with the initial testing and consultation at Hometown hearing of Sarasota. It was comforting for me to get a good explanation of what was affecting my hearing and how to fix it. Dr. Kelly Murphy and her staff at Hearing Aids of Sarasota got me new Hearing Aids that work really well. The new technology, enabling me to control the volume via my phone, is miraculous ! Case in point, at a noisy restaurant last week, I lowered the volume via my phone which resulted in a huge reduction of the background noise while I was still able to converse with my wife at our table. Many thanks to Dr. Murphy and Hearing Aids of Sarasota !!!
