I recommend Dr. Kristin DesErmia as she provides the rare combination of professionalism, honesty and empathy to her craft. Her credentials as a Doctor of Audiology provide the skill sets to better prepare you for your hearing needs than an untrained hearing aid specialist. Her honesty is refreshing providing transparency in her pricing and pros and cons of the different hearing aid solutions. Finally her empathy of working with people who have, mostly through age, declining hearing abilities gave me comfort to know I was working with someone who is dedicated to help others.

I've had the pleasure of having Kristen be my audiologist for close to 20 years. She has one everything possible to get me the best hearing aids for my profound hearing loss. As an OTR trucker I had more than one instance where my hearing was questioned. When I was out of state. Kristen always made sure that she was available for me. Even after my relocation she is still there if I need questions answered. Best healthcare provider I have ever had!!!

When I called to make an appointment and asked if they were taking new patients, Jessica said they were however, they were booked 2 weeks out. I shared my plight with her and within minutes, she was able to squeezed me in to see Dr. DesErmia. Jessica was kind and attentive and thorough while collecting information. Today 10/6/2020 was my first time meeting Dr. Kristin DesErmia. She and her assistant did a complete and comprehensive exam. I am truly happy I found a Dr. who is compassionate about what she does and has the same compassion for her patients. I highly recommend Dr. Kristin DesErmia as

My family said they thought I needed hearing aids. I contacted Ascent and got an immediate appointment. Kristen was absolutely wonderful. Jessica in the front office, couldn’t have been kinder. The young lady working on her doctorate was patient, kind and explained everything clearly. When the test was over, Kristen showed me the computer generated results. She explained everything to me and I was very happy with my visit. Needless to say, my family was wrong! I would recommend this practice to anyone who needs to see an audiologist. And now I’m making my husband go there!!
