Prior to joining Bonavista Real Estate Management in 2014 he founded and operated a real estate management company in Seattle.
He also spent over seven years with a private real estate group in Seattle where he developed lead operations with oversight of property and asset management. Throughout his real estate career Mike has been involved with the management of over 6,000 apartments and mixed use properties and commercial real estate with values exceeding $350 million.

Avoid renting from this management company. Sure there may be some good buildings but from my experience behaving in a nonprofessional manner doesn’t give a company a reputable image at all. The emergency maintenance line has to be a joke because every time I have communicated with someone from there on the phone it’s extremely unprofessional in the way they handle the issue at hand. Maintenance workers that have actually came into my apartment (1 person which I believe is assigned to the site) were friendly though. Property management is also astonishingly non communicative and lacks etiquette

I don't even know where to begin. I was living in a pretty tumultuous situation in Seattle and I needed OUT. I found the most PERFECT apartment in a close neighborhood to where I was already living and familiar with, and I just knew I had to move into this building. I found the most amazing, recently renovated one bedroom. Granite countertops, TONS of counter space, new stainless steel appliances, a BUNCH of storage space and a full bath. I emailed to inquire and had a response waiting for me the next day. Liz was/*is* AMAZING.

If I could give this property management company a 0 star I would. This company is terrible.
First of all, when you place a maintenance review no one gets back to you. Like at all. Almost every time I had to send an additional email seeing if they received my request or when to an expect someone to come-by and fix things. Also, when it’s an emergency to have to call another number and a guy answers saying “hey I’m down in Tacoma and I can’t come tonight. I just got home and am tired” when it’s a flood with possible water damages and mold risks. Makes total sense to me.

From my experience living at the A.W. Larson building since April 2019, I would say they are doing a wonderful job. During my original apartment search, the Bonavista mangers were only one of a few to get back to me promptly. Additionally, the manager I dealt with, did a tremendous job explaining the lease and all my options incase of anything unexpected happening. Based on my current experience, I would easily rent from another one of their properties. I will also be the first to update this review if I ever experience anything different from my current experience.

Three years ago, my son moved to Seattle and into an apartment managed by Bonavista. Even as a visitor, his property manager, Simone, always welcomed me and treated me as a valued guest. My son had nothing but praise for his new home. So when I decided to relocate to Seattle myself two years later, even after touring several other apartment complexes, I deliberately chose a Bonavista-managed apartment because of our positive experiences with the manager. Bonavista is great! They manage the building I live in on Eastlake, and I couldn't be happier. The property manager is very responsive to maintenance concerns and is super friendly. I've lived in a lot of apartment buildings in Seattle, and this has been the best so far! They really go above and beyond to make sure the tenants are happy - the gym just got an equipment update, the common room always has fresh coffee, and one time the manager even bought cinnamon rolls for whole building on a Saturday morning! Rent here - you won't regret it!

Excited to move to Seattle! I've been working with Bonavista to rent an apartment in one of their new buildings, the Robin's Nest, while it's still finishing construction. I'm moving from Philly, and I thought it would be tough to work out leasing an apartment long distance - not at all! The manager has been super easy to communicate with, and the process was pretty straight forward. Thanks Bonavista! Looking forward to calling Seattle home :D

I have enjoyed my time with Bonavista management, especially at AW Larson building. The facility is always clean and welcoming. When I was searching for apartments, the manager was prompt and helpful with her replies. The manager also made it clear what paperwork was need prior to signing a lease and move in. I’ve had few maintenance problems with my apartment, but when I have had questions, they have been prompt with replying and completing maintenance requests.

Our apartment manager is so amazing! she has worked tirelessly to make my fiancee and I feel very welcome and safe in our building. We have had a excellent relationship with our manager. I have never had an apartment management be so willing to help out their tenants. When packages arrive, she labels them and stores them in her office, lets the tenants know she has them. She has worked with us to get a secure parking spot. Whenever we go out of town we can trust she will take care of our mail and any other favors we have asked. Thank you so much for all you do!

Bonavista took over management of the apartments I live at about 6 months ago and I couldn't be happier. Our last property manager would never return calls, take weeks to fix simple maintenance requests and failed to keep accurate documentation. When Bonavista took over, it was night and day compared to what we had previously. Bonavista, particularly Meggie Greiff and her team, has provided incredible service to its tenants, from same day responses and consistent building communication, to fulfilling maintenance requests quickly and willing to be flexible and accommodating to individual tenant
