I purchased a home where the selling agent was John Potter at Mayo Realty about 2 years ago. The agent attempted to cover up some major problems with the property, and when I tried to get him to do something about it, he initially refused to even speak with me. He finally, after some persuasion from my realtor, consulted with the owner and did pay for some mitigation of the problem. However, there was another issue concerning a gas fireplace which did not work. When I asked Mr. Potter about this, he said it just needed to be switched on. Several handymen tried to switch it on, but it did not work
