Tippicanoe Campground is located on the shoreline of Rand Pond, a clean, sandy-bottom spring fed pond that is stocked with trout by the State of New Hampshire every year and enjoys a reputation far and wide as a great fishing destination. We are on the original site of the oldest YMCA camp in New Hampshire, known to many as Camp Soangataha, and our camping history actually dates back to 1911!

In addition to excellent fishing, our pond is also enjoyed by campers who appreciate clean, refreshing swim water and for boating in canoes, kayaks, sailfish or small motor craft (under 10 hp).
Services
The most gratifying aspect of being a seasonal campground owner is watching our very diverse group of campers enjoy true leisure time together, most especially the multi-generational families we are fortunate to have at Tippicanoe. Observing grandparents swim or fish or make s'mores with their adult children and grandchildren is a beautiful thing.
The Canopy Zip-Line Tour features a series of zip-lines, rope bridges and rappelling as you descend from the top of South Peak. There are eight zip-lines in total highlighted by the final 1,000' dual zip-lines to a platform behind the Welcome Center, from which you will rappel back down to earth. From the first tree platform to the last platform you will travel a distance of almost of a mile above the forest floor.
Tenters: We now offer primitive, field & stream camping across the street from our main campground. There are no facilities there, and no utilities, but use of our facilities is available. The base rate is $35.00 minimum, for up to 4 people and $10.00 per person for every additional person. Some choose to tent alongside the RV campers, close to modern & clean bathroom facilities.
7: 30 pm Season kickoff with DJ Jim! Meet & Greet new neighbors/rec hall/Team music trivia & name that tune. 2 pm Come for Fried dough! Tippi will treat you to the best, cooked to perfection by Joan Dumayne and Dianne Poisson not an easy task. Thank you ladies! Chuck Strobel and friends will give us another awesome show! Background music by Dave Plante & Al Larade.

It is a great campground and the owners are just incredible. There is not one bad thing I can say about this place or the people who run it.

We actually have only visited family staying here and it's great! Friendly staff and a great playground on the beach.
Can't think of a better way to spend a hot summer day than sitting on the beach while the kids swim and dig and play!! Plus it's NH so a beautiful view around the lake is always eye candy.
Oh and a Geocache is nearby if you are in to that!! A great place to stay and play in the heart of true New Hampshire.

A great place to camp.
Very family friendly.
Both seasonal and transient sites.
Rand Pond is a pleasure to swim, fish or just sit on the beach.
