This is my favorite campground on this side of NH. But the prices are REALLY steep compared to other bigger campgrounds in NH that offer a lot more. I'm super local to Northstar so it's our go to place but the prices are so high compared to others.

Great wooded sites and the swimming pond is nice on the hot days. Bring your own activities to enjoy in the fields, or use the horseshoe pits and volleyball net. The open field is huge and has plenty of space for lots of people.

Very nice camping sites in the beautiful wooded area, the staff/owner was very friendly. There is a River running next to camp sites which adds more beauty to the place. They have a very well maintained pond where you can swim, it would be crowded most of the times. Rest rooms were very clean, due to the focus situation they converted one of their restroom to a family restroom which can be used by only one family at a time. You have to pay for shower (50 cents for 6 mins of shower) which I have never seen in any of the other camp grounds. That’s the only reason for the 4 stars. The store has

A very nice place to go camping with family. It's a huge campus with many options like nomad tent sites, tent sites with 2 way hookups and RV sites with 3 way hookups. Most of the tent sites are located in such a way that they all have access to the river that runs around the campground. We can get firewood and ice in the office which is open from 9am to 9pm. The property also have a swimming pond. The restrooms are nearly maintained but we need to pay $0.50 for shower, so carry quarters if you wish to have a bath there. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely visit again when we get another

This campground is a surprise gem! Lovely location that makes you feel like you are away from everything! My sister -in-law and her fiance were able to get a last minute reservation and had a spot along the river that was perfect. The setup of the sites makes the place feel vert "homey & cozy". I also like the fact that they allow you to bring your dog! My hubby and I look forward to reserving a spot there in the future ourselves.

We stayed at site 44 and it was one of the prettiest sites we've been to. There is an accessible brook that runs right behind it and it was great, very peaceful. The site was level and the facilities were clean. The staff was friendly. We were there on a very busy holiday weekend so it was very loud which was a bummer because the site was just so lovely. But that is not the fault of the campground - just crowded and lots of loud radios until 11 p.m. Would go back when it isn't so crowded.

I am so impressed by the owners and the campground, each site is maticulousl. We had 3 sites there all together on the beautiful river, all sites are just as beautiful as the other. People are friendly and are here to have a fun time or just kick back relax and do nothing if that is what they want.. I would and have highly recommended Northstar and would definitely be back.

One of the best campgrounds we've ever stayed at. Had a large site right next to the river. Went during the week and didn't have anyone near us. Was very quiet, even with dogs allowed. Bathrooms were pretty clean. Shower didnt get hot but it got warm enough to use. The swimming hole had a weird smell to it the second day we were there but was still enjoyable if you don't mind cold water.
