I am leaving this review because their admission process is the most horrible I have ever dealt with. I put my daughter on the waiting list at 3 months old in 2019. She was offered a spot a year later and gave us 24 hours to respond and because we were out of state on vacation and couldn’t get her there for her “first day” they gave it to someone else. At least that time we received an email and a phone call. Then apparently in November 2020 they emailed about another spot for her but I never received a call and missed the 24 hours to respond to an email I dont check but weekly. It is now

My daughter was placed on the waiting list when she was 3 months old (5/19). Fast forward nearly 2 years in November of 2020 - apparently an email was sent notifying us of an opening. No phone call, no follow up - and after only 24 hours without a reply, our daughter was removed from the wait list. Absolutely unprofessional “policies”. We spoke with Shelby today and she was unwilling to assist us in any way. After 2 years on the waiting list and the best they could do was an email and 24 hours to respond. Pathetic.

I worked at Hawfields as a teacher for almost three years. At first it was ok but after that people began to show their true colors. I loved the kids and all the families but personnel was not fair at all when it came down to me and other employees. I would NEVER ever work their again!! I could say a lot but I’m not. Personnel is not what it’s cracked up to be, nothing but DRAMA!

I have had my children at Hawfields for over 7 years. This is by far the best daycare in the area. I postponed going back to work until I could get a spot at Hawfields for my twins because I knew that was the only place I would feel comfortable leaving them. It is a warm loving place and the staff is so friendly and treat the kids great. You won't find a better daycare than this!

My son has attended Hawfield's for over a year and it has been a very positive experience. The teachers treat my son as if he was their own and I feel very comfortable knowing he is well taken care of. I like all of the arts and crafts that my little boy has brought home to us and I can tell they are really tapping into his creative side. The school is ran in a structured environment so they make sure the kids in each classroom are grouped by age and learning aptitude. If we have any issues I feel they are addressed in a timely and professional manner.

Wonderful child care providers! My children have been attending Hawfields Child Care since 2007, and I have never worried about their well being! You can tell the teachers and staff truly care about the children. My son is now in 2nd grade and is performing well above grade level, he was more than prepared for kindergarten by the teachers at Hawfields! I would highly recommend this center to anyone.

Our oldest daughter has been attending Hawfields for 2 years, and our youngest just started in the baby room 2 months ago. When we first moved back to NC, we started out at another local facility. The experience was awful and we lasted 6 days until I received a call from Hawfields that a spot had opened up. Let me tell you, prayers were answered that day. The teachers at HCC were so helpful with transitioning my daughter into a new school. They gave me helpful tips to make drop off easier. They loved and supported our daughter, giving her everything she needed to feel safe and comfortable. Within
