In accordance with state and local mandates, masks are required inside the bakery regardless of vaccination status. Currently, we do not offer inside seating. We do have four lovely picnic tables outside, which you are welcome to use during your visit! Visit us during business hours for same day purchases.

We will have a daily selection of fresh baked breads and pastries, plus sandwiches, dry goods, coffee drinks, and retail items available for first come, first serve purchase. Please note that our space is small, and that to ensure the safety of our staff and guests, we will only be able to accomodate 4-6 customers inside the bakery at any time.
Services
Bella's Italian Bakery & Market started in 2015 at the Lents International Farmers Market.

Chef and Owner Michelle Vernier, a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America with over 20 years of fine dining pastry and bakery experience, wanted to recreate her family's Italian salsamenteria (delicatessen) - a neighborhood shop where you can stop for a morning espresso, a freshly baked pastry, a glass of wine and a sandwich, or just some friendly conversation. Our fabulous team of talented bakers and baristas are here to take care of you!
Every day, we bake a full selection of fresh breads, pastries, freshly filled cannoli, made-to-order sandwiches, and more! You can still browse the online store even if you don't want to place an order online! If you'd like to place an order online, you'll need to have your order in by noon the day before you'd like to pick it up.
We are located on the corner of SE 91st and SE Woodstock Blvd, right in the heart of Lents Town Center and just off the Foster Rd./205 exit. Easily accessible by bus or the MAX Green line. Customers are welcome to use the parking lot, which is located on 91st between Woodstock and Foster, for up to 2 hours.

Super cute little bakery - smells amazing inside! Italian bread was so fresh - to die for. And the pastries I tried were amazing as well. Highly recommend.

The best bakery for miles around. Stay away from the almond cakes because if they run out and I can't get one it will go poorly for everyone.

Everything I’ve had here has been amazing. The breakfast slider is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Their bread is perfect. Go there now!

I wanted cannolis for my birthday instead of a cake. I'm very glad I choose Bella's! Absolutely incredible cannolis!!
I got a few dipped in chocolate and some dipped in chocolate and pistachios. Both we're amazing!!
Thank you very much for making my birthday so delicious this year!!

Highly recommend! Great we'll crafted foods. The train station sandwich was very tasty and it's been so long since I've had a good cannoli. I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

Owner operated, Italian traditional with modern sensibility.
I sometimes hesitate to go to a new place alone but these folks made me feel welcome. Customers walk in from around the Lents neighborhood.
Your eyes hit the display cases and you forget about being shy!
You know the feeling when you open the fridge and look for that mythic, perfect food but never find it? Bella’s grass pie comes -SO- close that I am going to call it the perfect food this morning!
I usually review when I feel strongly positive. I write negative reviews rarely and only when health, safety, etc. are an issue.

Their focaccia is absolutely stellar. I don’t even like olives normally, but they had this slab or focaccia fresh out of the oven and it was so soft and flavorful. I also got the Parmesan black pepper focaccia and it was also great, but a little less soft than the olive. Their house bread is great as well. Definitely worth a stop by if you are in the area

All sorts of baked goods, Italian baked goods that is. Beer and wine also avaible. I chose a portobello sandwich and a cannoli...with an espresso of course. Food was fantastic. Cannoli delish. Will be back for more of the other baked goods and pastry. I recommend it if you want to put a smile on your wife's face.

We stopped in for coffee and dessert. The latte was very good and the canolli was some of the best anywhere. The place is immaculate and brand new. We met the owner who is a very nice, and friendly young lady who is delightful. The decor is mininimalistic but very tastefully done. There is an old cooler that is very beautiful, used as wine display case. All in all a great bakery and coffee shop.

Oh man, talk about well worth the wait! Michelle Vernier is a highly respected chef and the Portland community, and Lents could not be luckier to have Bella’s in the neighborhood. Their soft opening was complete with delicious pastries, fresh brewed coffee and espresso, and Steven Smith Tea (which, as a tea drinker, I was super excited to see them carry!)
Cookies, blueberry tarts, a delicious flaky apple pastry that I’m not even going to try to spell, fresh baked bread, almond tea cakes...all present in this first day.
I shared the apple pastry, the tea cake, and the blueberry tart – all
