Services
Formerly known as simply PDGA (Pacific Diving and Gymnastics Academy) USA, we have decided to split our gymnastics and diving programs into. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that has been dedicated to the enrichment of youths ages 3-18 years of age in the sports of diving and gymnastics since 2004.
Are you aspiring to become a gymnast or diver? PDA USA/Straight A's Gymnastics Academy is here to help! Attend the recreational gymnastics classes, diving classes, and seasonal camps we offer at our center in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will be trained by our experts so you can eventually become part of a competitive team.
Junior Olympic (JO) gymnastics is a competitive program run by USA Gymnastics (the governing body for gymnastics in the United States), for American athletes interested in many types of gymnastics. The Women's Junior Olympic Program has two major groups: Compulsory and Optional. The difference between Optional and Compulsory is the type of routines they can perform.
This program is for both those learning to dive and novices who are just starting out and/or do not have a simple 1M competitive list. Diving Team is designed for our JO and Novice divers who do not want to commit as much time as those on the National Team. This group is for divers with a J.O. skill set who want to be at the National and International level.
Birthday parties typically last about two hours, with time split between playing in the gym and spending time in the lobby with food, cake, and gifts! Our parties are perfect for groups of experienced gymnasts as well as those with no gymnastics experience whatsoever! Parents are welcome to stay and watch their children have fun, but parents are not allowed on the gym equipment.

This is a great gym with coaches who really care about the kids. If you ever have a question or concern the owners are quick to help figure out a solution. All 3 of my children have attended classes here for the last 3-4 years from beginning classes to team. We have nothing but good things to say about PDGA.

Excellent place to learn the basics, make new friends, and have healthy activity. we are very happy with our Xcel Team coach Nicole who we’ve worked with for the past year and our daughter is looking forward to competing with friends in the 2020 season starting soon! We’ve been here for four years. There was a big period of change for the company maybe 3 years ago, but it seems things are going in the right direction.

I cannot advise against this gym enough. Shady business practices, high staff turn over, lack of staff training, lack of concern for best teaching practices because of favoritism, complete lack of professionalism from top to bottom, etc. are only some of the issues you can expect from this god forsaken place.

They've opened their new gym in La Mirada and we love it. Their coaches are awesome and it's a great family environment. I would definitely recommend anyone looking into putting their child in gymnastics to check this place out. We tried out several gyms before finally deciding on this one and we couldn't be happier.

Update: Coaches & Staff have either left or got fired this place has no stability and that’s what my child needs. My daughter has made the Excel Team because of 2 Great coaches training, the head Coach Toni of the Excel Team has been fired I don’t see how she is Awesome with the kids and is very dedicated!! My child will no longer be going here, this was the final straw for me!!
