Charter Oak Gymnastics
We offer fun gymnastics recreational classes for boys and girls from 18 months to 17 years. Children 18 months to 3 years old are in our Monkeys Program, which is a parent participation class. Children ages 4 to 5 years old are in our Tigers & Lions Programs. Children 6 to 17 years old start in our Beginning Classes and progress through our multi-leveled programs.

We also offer Tumbling and Urban Acrobatics and we are always planning a special activity for the classes such as Day Camps and Birthday Parties! The mission of Charter Oak Gymnastics is to provide a safe and caring environment in which each child knows they have value. COG strives to teach respect, confidence, self-esteem, self-discipline and work ethic to enable each child to be the best athlete and person they can be.
Services
Pre-School gymnastics activities are to develop small and large motor skills. Activities are fun-filled as experienced and professional personnel direct the little ones toward strength, flexibility and social development. Equipment used includes balls, hula hoops, ropes, baby balance beam, ladders, trampolines, and floor.
Enrollment & Payments: Beginning in May of 2021 our program will operate as a month to month billing and enrollment. Any enrolled child will automatically have priority enrollment in their current class. This will ensure your child's spot in the class. If your form of payment is rejected when charged on the 1st day of the month a fee of $5 will be added to your account.

My daughter has been eager to join gymnastics, so I started searching for places and I came across this one. I really liked it looked like an actual gymnastics gym and not a high school gym with just mats on the floor. My daughter really enjoys coming to her sessions mon and thurs. I enjoy watching her thrive and doing something she loves. The coaches I love are firm when they have to be and they want the kids to pay attention. I feel like that's the only way for them to learn. My only complaint is the group sizes and not enough attention goes into each student. It would be awesome to see

So we started coming here for parent and me gymnastics through the city of Glendora after we were not happy with another gym. We loved it to so much we joined the gym on our own and have been apart of the Charter Oak family for 2 going on 3 years. Our daughter has grown so much during her time here. She enjoys coming to camp and her classes. And even though she is still a busy bee 4 year old with tons of energy, the coaches have helped her gain confidence and patience and she just thrives on going and working on her skills. She is so excited to call herself a gymnast. Big shout out to Coaches Kathy

My daughter is a competitive gymnast here and is the happiest I have seen in her four years of gymnastics. She was a late start gymnast at 9 years of age, and CO is her third gym. Long story short, we left the two previous gyms due to verbal abuse and gymnast shaming. My daughter was ready to quit gymnastics. CO has high standards for the girls, but neither of us have been witness to anything described in previous posts. In fact, at the end of her tryout, my daughter said, "It was weird to not hear the coaches screaming their heads off at the gymnasts"- and mind you, she tried out

This is a professional program that supports young children. They teach them how to work hard, focus and be disciplined! The coaches do a great job to help the kids feel comfortable and confident in themselve. I highly recommend this gymnastics training center!

My daughter has been coming to Charter Oak for a few years now. This is something that she wants to do. As her dad, I am a novice at this sport, but she has really become exited about gymnastics more and more. The coaches here are great, at her level they are friendly, welcoming yet can still heard cats into getting a lot of productive stations in during a session.
I believe the sessions are 8 weeks long, with testing on the 7th week. That leaves the 8th week as a fun week. My daughter really enjoys those weeks.
Double check when you sign up if something has changed.
It is really an encouraging

Just registered our daughter here. The place came recommended and without ever taking a class yet I know why. I know nothing about gymnastics and or how to get my daughter involved, I called here and the person who answered the call had a answer to all my questions, comments and concerns. Can't wait to start next week.

Came here on a field trip with little ones. The kids love it. The gym is nice and clean.. Give that 5 stars

Coach Eric is very very unprofessional and not trained to deal with little ones. His tones made us all feel very uncomfortable. Very unprofessional. Constantly angry and shouting at the 4-5yr olds. He needs to remember he was not doing us a favor we were paying customers. I don't think I will come back.

Please read all the policies. Once your kid takes their first class they hold your entire tuition and will only offer credit ZERO CASH. I hope this isn't the entire staff but the front desk staff member who help me made zero conversation and didn't help at all, she was really unaccommodating. Also, there are trials that you can bring your kids to to test if they will do ok in that learning environment before committing to anything long term (of which I had ZERO idea existed because no one will ever mention it. I was told you have to find it on their website) but IT'S UPON REQUEST

I've been associated with Charter Oak Gymnastics for many years now and can ensure you that you will love It here. All of the coaches at Charter Oak Gymnastics are constantly trying to motivate and encourage the students to achieve the best to their ability. It's truly motivating to see students that have been coming to this program since they were just small children now reaching college on a gymnastics scholarship.

They helped renew my daughters love for gymnastics. She had lost interest at her previous place. This is the best. Improving much faster, working harder and moving up now. Happy to see her passionate about practice again.

A great place for youth who want to do gymnastics. I used to go here when I was a kid and the instructors were great, though, they may have changed since then.

Gymnastics and cheerleading Run in my family, and this place suits my Daughters Gymnastics needs. There are many levels and skills my daughter Brooke will be practicing with such a large Variety of Trainers fit for each level of skill. I'm amazed at how well Gymnastics class is organized. Everyone is very helpful and cheerful. The leaders are strict strong and firm, with each child but it's calm and effective. I'm happy my family and I decided on this Gymnastics forum over any other.

This gym has the best coaches. They're realistic with goals and won't allow you to waste your money if they don't see potential. They have glass up so the parents can't scream at the kids while they're teaching them. The kids all seem to have a great time and work really hard. Even the advanced competitive gymnast help the little ones. The only bad thing about this gym is the parents who bring their rude and obnoxious children with them while the rest of us are trying to watch our kids skill. I wish they would stay in the car with their extra children or at least control

Not what I expected at all. The first day when I had my daughter in the classs( I did not know they don't have a free trial) I wanted a refund, they said I can only get credit. Anyhow, I continued to finish the entire session. The original coach was not kid friendly and the admin staff that were helping was super unfriendly. I will give kudo to the substitute coach Nicholas who is very good with kids hence the two stars. If there were more coaches like him it would not have been so bad. Working with kids require being kids friendly and knowing ways to get them interested in doing the activity

My kids have been coming here for several years. The coaches here are incredible teachers. They have helped my kids advance in skill over time. My daughters love it. That being said, I wish they had auto pay or an email invoice with a pay box. I DREAD dealing with the office staff. There was one time that I was the only customer to be helped. The phone rang in the middle of our conversation, and the receptionist asked me to wait one minute. I did not realize that I would have to wait until the conversation was over 10 minutes later for her to take my check.

The customer service sucks because their office management sucks (KIMMY). She is rude and racist. She told me that she is not bilingual and shouldn't have to be because this is America and everyone speaks English. And that "these people" should learn before they try to communicate at the gym. She always gossiped about parents after they left and used company resources to get her unprofessional point across to everyone in the office. Your job should not be a popularity contest. But then again what should you expect from a hair dresser attempting to run an office.

Hi all! I have twin girls that just turned 3 and I must agree with a previous poster that one of the receptionists (Dilly?) needs major improvement in the customer service arena. Seems like she has ZERO awareness of the programs, requirements, classes etc. There was a lot of "dead silence" on the line when I asked questions. My girls had a trial class and we decided to just start them fresh at the new start of sessions (Oct 10, 2016), thanks to the advice of teacher Stuart, which had the patience of a saint. I was VERY impressed at the gym and overall activities, which tapped into every relevant

Quite frustrated with the receptionist at the front desk who lacks customer service skills. The make-up policy for kids that take Friday classes only permits Sat. Make up. So, if your child is sick or out of town make up is not allowed. My daughter was not able to make any of the classes she missed in tbe last two sessions. I do like the coach but truly wished the owner offered more flexibility. Families typically manage multiple kids who play multiple sports and such rigid policy makes it appear as if it is all about the money.

Why do people always have to bring up racism is still a mystery to me. To me, if I immigrate to another country, I want to speak the language, I want to know if they are talking about me (kidding) if you choose to live in a different country other then your native country, you should speak the language. I'm from the Netherlands and I made it a priority to speak English. What do you expect, that Americans who are born in this country have to learn your language? So next time I go there, I will have to tell them to speak Dutch? is that make sense. In fact, if you emigrate to the Netherlands, it's

I'm updating my review based on the summer camp experience. Previous review about their customer service remains the same. The blonde haired woman who sits at her computer and doesn't look up at you while you're talking is still rude and should take a math class. On two separate occasions when I tried talking numbers with her she would make up her own numbers (referring to cost). Like seriously if you hate your job get a different one. Your role is customer service and it's something you clearly lack. I'm not trying to bash anyone here that's not the point and that
